(Lauries pov)

The snow fell gently on my face as I walked to the garden, father told me that Mia was coming tomorrow. I'm quite excited, I clutched the bracelet in my hand as I walked into the dining hall to eat dinner with my father, "Are you excited to see Mia again? You two were quite the pair!" I chuckled "Father we were 8!" I said smiling, "You should go get her room ready she'll be sleeping in the room across from you!" I nodded and headed up the stairs, I fixed the pillows on the bed and looked over to her old dresser. I opened one of the drawers to find half of the photo of Mia and I sitting on the swing, I was only in possession of the half with Mia sitting on the swing smiling. I laid on the bed holding the ripped picture in front of me as I walked to my room and soon fell asleep.

TIME SKIP TO THE NEXT DAY

(Mia's pov)

I was standing in room packing my trunk when I came across my old journal from when I was younger it had all of Jo's poems in it, along with an array of Amy's old drawings and a picture of Laurie. He had the other half of the picture with me sitting on the swing next to him. As quick as the memories came back from when I traveled to Laurie's they were soon interrupted by my father knocking on my door. "Come in!" He slowly walked through the door, "It's time to go are you packed and everything?" I nodded and we headed downstairs to the buggy.

TIME SKIP (SORRY)

The horse slowly came to a stop as we reached a familiar welcoming mansion. As we entered I was quickly greeted by a man about the age of my father, I recognized him to be Laurie's father. He gave me a quaint smile with the words  "You're much more beautiful than the last time I saw you!" booming out of his mouth. "And much more mature too!" He smiled as I shook his hand.

After our fathers caught up with each other, I was told to get unpacked. I found my trunk and asked where I would be staying, "You will be staying in your old room!"  I nodded trying to remember where that was.

Mr. laurence looked at me and smiled "I think it's about time you'd see Laurie isn't it, after all you haven't seen each other for a few years now! If I had to guess he would be in the garden!" I smiled and nodded my head. I finished taking my trunk up to my room and headed downstairs.

When I asked for directions to the garden, the maid simply pointed to a gate which I soon met in no time. I opened the gate slightly and walked in it was very organized just how I recalled it to look, lilac flowers lining the entry, and roses on the right with daisy flowers on the left, I smiled as I remembered them to be my favorite flowers when I was little. The garden was all topped with a very large fountain in the middle that I presumed to be new since I didn't remember it being there. I walked a few steps to find an arch covered in vines, I peeked through it to see a boy sitting on a familiar swing with a book in his hands, facing the stone arches the I remembered climbing. I stood there for a moment looking at the boy, "Laurie?"  He turned his head around fast and fell off the swing, I tried to hold in my laughter as he tried to stand up. He got up quickly and he smiled, "Mia?" He questioned. I nodded my head as he came up to me and gave me a hug, "I missed you so much, I never thought I'd see you again!" He proclaimed putting his hands on my shoulders. "Are you going to be okay?" I asked he smiled and rubbed his neck with his right hand "I think it'll be healed up by the morning!"
