I woke up that morning to find a blanket over my legs I had forgotten that I wasn't in my room and had fallen asleep in Laurie's. I opened my eyes the rest of the way and opened the door to be filled with the aroma of bacon. I pulled my hair back and started down the stairs "Good morning Mia!" Laurie said smiling I smiled back and sat next to him. "About last night...." I started and he quickly shot me an understanding look as if to say, 'Hey don't worry I understand' I smiled as I was handed a plate full of eggs and bacon. "I'll be in the garden come join me when you're done!" Laurie said as he walked out the front door, I tried to eat my food quickly and was soon able to head over to the garden.

I always thought of the garden as our  place since that's where we spent most of our time together. I walked through the gate to find Laurie on the swing again. I smiled and sat next to him, none of us said a word we both just sat there looking straight ahead. I glanced over as I saw something shine out of the corner of my eye I looked down to Laurie's wrist and saw the bracelet I blushed a bit, I reached my hand up to the necklace that had faded a bit in color since I had never taken it off for the past 8 years. I went to look at Laurie when he started laughing, "What!" "Nothing your just making me laugh!" "Why!" "I don't know, remember when we first played in the garden." "We planted the daisies and got dirt all over our clothes" "And we got in so much trouble!" We both started laughing "I really missed you. I really wanted to write to you but I kept getting caught up in my school studies." I smiled "I really missed you to Laurie." He looked at me and smiled "Follow me!"
