I woke up the next morning without finding Laurie next to me until I realized I had fallen asleep in my own room, I washed my hands and headed downstairs for breakfast. "Good morning Mr.Laurence!" I said as I was handed my breakfast plate, I looked at the table and saw no Laurie I finished my food and ran back up to Laurie's room. No Laurie, I got quite nervous thinking about where he could be. I put on my trousers and ran downstairs, "Where's Laurie?" I asked Mr.Laurence smiled and replied with "He was on his way to go visit the March family!"
I quickly started up the hill to the March house I got upstairs to an old attic room I remembered quite well to be a playroom. "Mia!" Beth said as I opened the door, "Where's Teddy?" I said kind of shocked at the fact that I called him Teddy. "He went on a walk with Jo!" Beth replied "Okay thanks!" I replied, Amy gave me a smirk I just smiled and went off to find Teddy.
I soon spotted him across the hill by Jo, I ran over to them quite excitedly, "I love you Jo." Laurie said as my heart dropped, 'I love you Jo.' I thought to myself, I couldn't help but run back to the house crying.
Laurie's pov
I was going on a walk with Jo since I needed to talk to her about how to tell Mia I like her. We ended up on the other side of the hill where I thought no one was listening or could hear us.
"You'll know what to say Laurie, it'll all come to you!" Jo said, "Just tell her you love her, it's obvious you two like each other! Here practice on me! Just say 'I love you Jo'. " I laughed "okay I'll try it, I love you Jo." I said it felt really uncomfortable to say to her face"Okay, try again more passion", "I love you Jo, and I've loved you ever since the day I first met you!" I said, she smiled as we both headed back up the hill.
I got back home to find Mia in her room, laying on her bed I opened the door. She looked up at me with tears in her eyes. "Mia what's wrong?" She tried to breathe "What did Jo say?" "What do you mean what did Jo say?" She sobbed harder "I heard you tell her you loved her." "What?" She sobbed hard I quickly pulled her into a hug, "Y-you a-and Jo w-were on th-the hill and y-you told her y-you loved h-her!" She said trying to catch her breath. I hugged her tighter "I was practicing on Jo." I paused for a minute wondering if I was really about to do this. "I was asking her the right words to say to you." She lifted her head up and smiled at me, I felt butterflies in my stomach. I cupped the side of her face in my hand, "I love you Mia, I've loved you ever since we were young I was never able to stop thinking about you and I"..... She hugged me, and I hugged her back. "I love you Teddy!" She said into my shoulder. "I love you too princess."
We stayed in the hug for a while not saying anything.
