Barbara never thought her life would drop rock bottom.
But, it did.
The love of her life and the man she wanted to spend her life with, left her and her five year old son.
Never to return again.
Even when she waited...and waited, hoping he would come back.
Days turned into weeks. Weeks turn into months. And months turn into years.
Barbara was completely heart broken.
She couldn't believe that James Lake, her husband, decided to leave her at the most stressful time of her life.
Juggling being a mother and a doctor with a very strict schedule.
However, she needed to be strong and take care of her son. And so, for the next ten years, it was just Barbara and her son, Jim.
They both took care of each other, as a promise.
Even though Jim was the one who took care of her more than she cared for him.
Since she wasn't in the house all the time, he did all the house chores, cooked the food and always reminded her to pay the rent and other utility bills.
She didn't know what she would do without him. And she was grateful to have a wonderful son.
Completely forgetting about finding love again and focusing on what really matters.
