This can't be happening, this shouldn't be happening, but it is, and he tries to escape it.

In the darkest cave, Blinky ran endlessly, trying to find an escape.

Except, there was no escape, and he was just running in a never ending loop.

The only thing he could do was follow the voices throughout the pitch black void.

"Blinkous! Blinkous! Blinkous!"

"I'm coming! Please, don't leave me!"

The voices kept getting further and further as he ran towards it and he could never reach it.

His legs were getting sore and it ached to the point he fell forward.

"No! Come back!" He called out in desperation.

The last thing he heard was two familiar voices before they faded into the darkness.

"Blinkous, why? Why did you leave us to die?"

"Why didn't you save us?"

"I didn't leave you! I tried to save you! Please, come back!"

He falls down and hunched forward, planting his hands  and knees onto the ground and hung his head down.

"Please... I don't want to be alone." Blinky sobbed as he was left all alone in a dark cave.

Not even his glowing eyes can luminate his surroundings, it wasn't enough to provide a bit of light.

All became cold and empty as depression hit him. After losing the ones he loved and cared from the battle, he didn't know what to do.

He never felt so lonely in his life.

That is until he felt a thud, repeating, coming close to his position.

Blinky looks up to see two neon green eyes, and a smaller figure in a cloak holding a bright lantern.

"Hello there. Are you lost?" The woman asked calmly.

He looked confused, looking between her and the large troll.

"Yes. Yes, I am. I've been lost for so long, I... don't know where I am or where to go. I... I can't do this on my own..."

The cloaked woman stepped forward and offered her hand.

From his angle, he could see a small part of her face as the light from the lantern made her features glow warmly.

He could only see her chin, lips and the underside of her nose.

She had a gentle smile, one that was very familiar but he couldn't quite remember where he last saw it.

Blinky took her hand and got up.

He seemed confused about what's going on and how they came here.

"I'm very sorry to hear that. It seems like we have some things in common. Being lost and alone, it is definitely nothing new to us." The woman replied.

Blinky tilts his head, then the large troll steps into the light.

"Blinky can come. Can be alone together." He suggested.

"What?"

"You don't have to be alone if you come along with us. We can go on this journey together." The woman clarifies, stepping closer.

"I..." The blue troll froze, looking between the cloaked woman and the large troll again, conflicted in making the decision.

Although, he realizes it's best if he has some company rather than being alone.
