It took some time for Angor to find the changeling, but once he found him, he waited and stalked him at a distance to the point of driving his prey to paranoia.

However, he should have tried to attack when he watched Strickler get left behind by his partner, because when the man ran off, he tried to chase him, but lost him.

He growled with frustration and began to track him, and took a few hours but when he finally tracked the changeling down, he found Strickler hiding within the Trollhunter's home.

"Coward."

Angor muttered as he gazed upon the house in the quiet night.

This was going to be complicated if Strickler is getting protected by the one person he wanted to avoid.

His mind began to think about how he could get his revenge without causing anymore conflict with the Trollhunter.

It irked him when he couldn't find any solution, other than approaching her and asking for the changeling, but he knew that most likely won't happen as she is a protector and would do anything in her power to keep him alive, despite being Strickler's enemy.

The changeling must've found a good reason for her to keep him safe, which made him all the more furious at Strickler.

He had to do something, even if it meant breaking the promise that he made with the Trollhunter.

The sun rays covered his slumped figure, and he felt groggy as he slowly woke up from sleeping in an uncomfortable position.

Then, he felt his hands tied behind his back and the rope itched his skin.

He felt something sharp and metal under his chin and lifted his head up, next thing he knew, a horrid stench clogged his nose that finally woke him up and gagged.

In front of him was a sock that Barbara was dangling in his face.

Then, he realized that he was tied in a chair.

"We survived the night with no signs of Angor Rot. Congratulations. Breakfast is served." The armored woman spoke and tossed the stinky sock at his face, which he jerks his head away to remove the sock from his face.

"I don't eat socks. And I don't appreciate being tied up. I asked you to protect me, not torture me." Strickler scoffed.

"And I said I'll keep you safe, not comfortable. Besides, this is protecting you from doing anything stupid." She replied and deactivated her armor.

"The sun is up. That means we have until sundown to get me as far away as possible." The man spoke as he looked up the kitchen window.

"Well, I hate to call Lucas about this, but we're going to need a plan." Barbara went over to get her phone and called her step brother.
