AVERY INSTANTLY FELT arms unwrap itself from her body as she heard Aidan get up. He was a big boy so you could hear him from a mile away if you really tried. Avery opened her eyes slightly and saw the boy putting his shoes on in the dark.

Avery opened her eyes, checking for her surroundings before furrowing her eyebrows. "Where are you going?"

Aidan turned to her before looking down. "Sorry did I wake you?" He asked, turning to his younger sister.

"No shit. Now, where are you going?" Avery asked the boy, her blue eyes glowing due to the moonlight shining in her room.

"There's this kegger going on down by the boneyard. Everyone's going. I didn't want to miss it" Aidan explained. Avery could only see his shadow and his bright blonde hair due to the darkness of the night as she tilted her head.

"Aidan....do you know how much I love parties? And I can't miss a party because everyone will be talking about it. So, I'm coming with" Avery said with a smile as she stood up from bed.

Avery hid something from Aidan. The main reason she loved parties. She loved parties because she could easily forget reality. She could easily forget all the missing assignments she had and the disappointed parents at home. She could just drink till she puked it all up.

"No. If dad finds out I-" Aidan stopped himself before giving his little sister a stern look. "I don't want to image what he'd do to you."

Avery looked down at the boy, giving him a sad smile before shrugging. "Well fuck dad. What's the worst that could happen? He can't leave a mark, at least not anywhere noticeable because it'll totally ruin his reputation. And he can't kill me so, whatever"

"Alright but don't say I didn't warn you" Aidan said as Avery had her shoes on as she threw things into a mini backpack she had, including an outfit.

Aidan furrowed his eyebrows, confusion taking over his expression. "What are you doing?"

"I'm gonna get ready in the car. I look like a goddam mess. Can't allow that" Avery said as Aidan nodded.

The two siblings then snuck out the window, as silent as a mouse to not wake their parents peacefully sleeping. They made it to the tree next to Avery's window since they were on the second floor.

"Damnit. Forgot" Avery mumbled as she threw her backpack down onto the ground, making it land into the grass before hopping after Aidan onto the tree.

When Avery and Aidan were kids they would always climb this tree and wish that one day they could make a tree house, Michael never allowed it of course but that didn't matter because they still had the time of their lives.

Aidan and Avery both landed on the grass, Avery grabbing her backpack, they felt like burglars but instead they were breaking....out? Aidan pulled his car keys out of his pocket and unlocked the car.

They both hopped in and immediately began driving. Avery instantly unzipped her bag, bringing the mirror down and began adding makeup.

"Jesus are all you woman like this?" Aidan asked as he rolled his eyes. "You look fine"

"Not fine to social media" Avery commented as she curled her eyelashes.

Once they were at the boneyard Aidan parked. "Hold on" Avery said as she took out a dress.

"What the hell is that? You can't change into that. There's no bathrooms" Aidan growled.

"Your car is my bathroom. Block the windows and I swear to god if you look I will super glue your eyes together" Avery said giving him a sarcastic smile. She hopped into the backseat as Adian sighed.
