Hey guys, I know it's been a really long time since I've updated. As well since the last time I said I was going to update ... I've heard everyone's calls, messages, emails, and threats and have finally updated. I will try to continue updating from now on these stories; however, I can not promise a regular schedule with updates. Thank you to everyone who has still supported me in this venture and has continued enjoying this series.

Lunch passed and we all went our separate ways again. By 'we all' I mean they all went to hang out together and I went to my designated room to kill some time. I was doing some schoolwork when Alyssa knocked on my door.
"Chris, go shower up then come to my closet so we can start getting ready for dinner." I wasn't able to respond because I heard the distinctive sound of her heels clicking away from my room. I sighed and set my pencil down before going to the bathroom to wash up.
After a quick shower, I was in a pair of nice pants with no tears and a plain forest green shirt. I was scrunching my hair in a towel while walking down the stairs to find Alyssa. If I remember correctly she and Richard shared a room. She had a separate room where she kept clothing, shoes, etc.
I paused trying to think of where to go but there were so many hallways in the damned house it was hard to remember where everything was. But because I've only been to a few rooms, I couldn't find it without getting lost.
The door was open and I peeked in. There was a black vanity table with a mirror on it and lights around it. Makeup was on the table and a set was pulled out. She had racks out on the left of the room full of clothing and on the right were shoes. There were full-body mirrors on the wall and another table with hair products on it.
Alyssa was standing in the middle of it looking into one of the mirrors. Her hair was in a low interact bun that touched her neck with strains falling out onto her face. She had the no make-up make-up look on and was wearing what seemed to be diamond earrings and a necklace.
She was wearing a formal long-sleeved white dress that hugged her body and had a V neckline showing her cleavage. The dress was open on her back stopping at her waist. It was a classy dress you see mothers in dramas wear when they're going to dinners before they pour a red drink on you for trying to get with their son.
I walked in and tapped my hand against the wall, letting her know I was there. She turned and looked at me before her eyes slowly traveled up and down. Taking in what I was wearing before her face turned into a grimace. I cringed as well seeing her compared to me, "It's a fancy dinner isn't it." I tried to contain the dread in my voice but I'm 99.9% sure I failed.
She nodded her head and gave me a pitying smile. "I was guessing you don't have anything appropriate for the dinner."
"I mean I could wear one of my old dance competition outfits. But those are from freshman year when I was like three feet shorter and had A cups." She gave me a look telling me that it was not the time to joke around. I always forgot how serious Alyssa was compared to my mother. They seem like opposites.
"You can take anything in here." She waved her hand at some of the racks of clothing as if I couldn't see them already. I gave her a small smile not wanting to seem ungrateful. Even though borrowing her clothing made me uncomfortable and I kind of felt judged.
"So I can't wear pants?" I asked, staring longingly at my pants. "I'd prefer you didn't but you can wear whatever you want." I looked over Alyssa's outfit again before releasing a breath. Richard is graciously letting me live here, the least I can do is not embarrass the crap out of him.
