Gym passed by normally. We had it outside today and they just made us run/walk/jog laps. There were the overachievers that wanted to seem more athletic than they actually were. The joggers who wanted to act like they were trying and participating but giving the bare minimum. Then us, the walkers that didn't give to fucks and had stuff to do after class.

Me and Addy were in the locker room with the rest of the females on the dance team getting ready. "Are you going to keep your makeup on?" Addy asked me while putting her leggings on

I looked at her confused, "I don't wear makeup." I told her lightly, giggling. She paused mid leg and stared at me. "You're not serious. How the hell is your skin so clear?" She demanded.

I laughed and put my hands up, "Your skin is just as clear as mine, and genetics?" I guessed unsure. She looked at me up and down like she didn't trust me before wiggling the rest of her leggings on.

I laughed again before putting on my homemade cropped dropped arm hole tank. It was a forest green which made my hair even more vibrant and showed off my body. Then I put on my grey sweatpants I use to practice all the time.

"Oooh, that's cute." Addy commented on my outfit as I was re-braiding my hair. "Thank you. You're looking pretty cute yourself." I complimented my back. She was wearing a black sports bra and purple leggings and a high ponytail.

She gave me a spin and posed, "Did you expect anything less hunny?" she flipped her ponytail and smirked. I chuckled and tied my braid, "lets go." I grabbed my water and started to walk out.

"Wait!" She called out to me. I stopped and turned around to look at her. I thought she was done getting ready. "What?" I asked. "I totally forgot to tell you at P.E today. There's this sports night thing we do."

"Yeah i know about that," I interrupted, "continue." I said apologetically. "Cool, well we usually dance at that." I blinked at her a few times but shook off my shock. Faintly remembering one of the guys commenting about us dancing at it. "So are we going to be learning a routine for that right now or freestyle?" I questioned.

"We usually practice for the show this week. We usually start Monday but there were a lot of good dancers this time." She sighed and rubbed her face. "Now hurry you're going to make us late." I gasped in fake outrage. "You're the one who stopped us!"

She laughed and ran out of the locker room. I rolled my eyes but followed her into the dance room. The room was almost filled with the members, a few still trickling in. Addy blew out a breath of relief, "We made it in time. If we didn't we would have to run laps for as long as we missed." She shuddered in the memory.

Wes came over to us with Kim and Teresita. "Hello ladies." He announced slowly. "What was that? An Elvis impression." I goaded at him. He rolled his eyes, "I don't need to impersonate Elvis to get chicks." He snapped back.

"You're an idiot." is all I said back. He winked at me before partnering up to stretch. I've always gotten along with guys better than girls so was a bit more comfortable with Wes than I was with Addy and them. Which was weird because I've known him shorter. I don't really know, he just gives off a trustworthy feel.

We both did basic one on one stretches before we went into partner stretches. He clapped his hands and rubbed them together, "Let's get you loosened up now shall we." I snorted while i layed down on my back. "The innuendos are impeccable." I replied.

He held a hand out for me and I raised my left leg. He took hold of it and started to push it closer and closer to my face until it touched my face. "Stop." I grunted as I felt the familiar pull of my muscles loosening. He froze and kept it there, counting up to ten. "8...9...10."
