*Next Day*

Cold waves crashed against Valreen's feet as they hid behind the broken cruise standing at the shore of the sea. Golden rays of sun were peeking from the horizon, painting the dark blue sky a shade of orange, the head of the giant orb barely visible. Cold breeze was tingling against his skin, soft calls of birds reminding him of the lazy days with his family.

"You shouldn't have come, Clary." Jia whispered, her dark brown eyes tracing every inch of the beach, stopping momentarily at every person, every ship or cruise that landed on the shore, hands gripping on the katana she carried gracefully around her waist.

"I wanted to, Jia." Clary whispered back, her eyes moving like a hawk looking at its prey. "I want to see personally what these bastards are upto."

"You know we're gonna kill everyone of them, right?" Valreen asked, as he swiftly moved forward to grab the man that came closer to the mini cruise they were hiding behind, snapped his neck as Jia put a bullet in his heart simultaneously.

"I've worked with mafias like both of yours before." Clary said, taking back the gun from Jia's hand. "Don't worry about me, I've seen bloodbaths, just not as brutal as something back at the mansion."

"Human wallpapers," A chill went through his spine once again. Since the time he found out about their brutality, he couldn't help but ponder if he had heard of something similar before. There was a nagging feeling in the back of his head, but he wasn't able to put his fingers on as to why.

"Let's not talk about that," Jia said through gritted teeth. But the tears brimming in her eyes didn't go unnoticed by Valreen. He knew that the young FBI officer suspected that her family wasn't involved in that brutality, Clary told him about his will to help, but he knew it was more than that.

He knew that Jia wasn't just affected by the fact that, that house was their dumping ground while they lived in there, or that her family was like a pebble in mud to those people. No. It was the turmoil, the loss, of not just her families but of all those people who resided in those walls, who unknowingly became a part of her home. Only if she would've learned about it at the right time, she would be living happily with her whole family.

"Alright, let's focus on why we're here." Valreen said. The two women nodded as they slowly inched towards the nearby ship, putting a bullet through whoever came in the way, trying to analyze what they were doing in the main cruise surrounded by several ships.

"Are we going to be enough? Looks like there are hundreds of them." Clary said, a hint of fear in her voice, oblivious of the ways Kimasan Cindaku worked.

"I've heard you've taken down thousands by yourself, Aos Sí. Are we going to be a witness of that glory today?" Jia asked, tone amused but fear lacing it nonetheless.

"Probably, but keep your guards up." Valreen said, eyes fixated on the people climbing up and down the stairs of the cruise. With the way a thin rope snaked around their arms, they were clearly Black Cobra's gang. "Clary, tackle the people on the ships closest to us. Jia, go with her. I'll handle the crowd."

Without paying attention to their reaction or words, he moved in the other direction, gripping the gun tightly in his hand, aiming directly on the foreheads if anyone came in his way. Once he was certain he's in the right position, he zipped open his jacket where ten high intensity hand grenades were tucked carefully, took out one, unlocked it and threw it with precision and kept repeating until there was a swarm of dead bodies lying around them.
