Zechariah Evans ' POV

" Guys, do you hear that?" Ophelia said, clearly trembling.

I was so damn upset with her, being all touchy and close to Tyler but this is not the time to think about that.

I need to find out what secret does this room hold. I mean there must be something abnormal in this place if Raymond is closing it and banning us from entering.
Also, the permanent darkness is triggering my suspicion.

Why is this room always off the lights ?

" Hear what?" Tyler asked.

His voice was not far, in fact , i could feel his presence behind me. I slightly turned my head his way.

" There's a voice. " Ophelia insisted.

What voice ?

I can't hear a single fly buzzing. All i hear is deafening silence if that even makes sense.

" All i can feel is a powerful presence " Emma retorted with hints of fear lacing her voice.

Everyone seemed to shut up, each i guess thinking what the next step is.

" I... Uh...uhh..i..who's here?" Ophelia asked interrupting the silence that settled.

I really wish i could hear what she hears. I really wish i would understand what is going on in her mind.

" Ophelia, who are you talking to?" I asked in the hopes that she would at least help me find out what was happening.

Several minutes passed, no one uttered a word.

Ophelia was like been swallowed, she stopped asking about the voice she heard.

She must be imagining things, minds can play devious tricks sometimes.

The others were gone too, i couldn't feel Tyler behind nor Emma's shallow breathing, not even hear Katarina's swears.

A ping of anxiety took over me. I rubbed the sweat that formed on my forehead, wiping it in the process. My body stiffened, an alarming feeling possessed me.

What on earth is happening ?

Everytime we come to this room, it's like i am no longer Zechariah. It's like i am a completely foreign person only carrying the same body.

I felt strong and powerful.

Suddenly, i heard faint voices far away.
The voices grew louder as i tried to focus on them.

A blurred vision came to my mind, weird creatures sitting along a table, shouting and yelling words in an unknown language.

The vision got clearer when a silhouette, it appeared to be human, entered and sat at the very far end of the table.
He must be their king or something, from the way they all shut up and bowed at his arrival.
The man looked familiar to me, but his face was blurred. No matter how hard i tried to focus, i couldn't make out his figure clearly.
His lips moved but no sound came out. The other weird creatures seemed to listen carefully and nodded now and then.

When he apparently finished talking, all of them stood up and raised some peculiar objects, maybe weapons, wooing and cheering as their king or chief or whatever top position he had exited the group.
The vision then started to fade as the table disappeared along with the creatures. Letters followed, and it seemed like spelling a word.

The Caecus ?
As i read the word, the letters dropped one by one, signaling the end of my vision.
