"Do you want to take a hot shower first?" Jisoo asked as soon as they got home.

Her hands deftly folded the umbrella by the door to prevent any water from dripping onto the floor. She stood there, not stepping inside yet since she was already soaked from the rain and didn't want to wet the floor.

"Chu, i'm fine. You're the one who's soaking!" Jennie came to help her wife unbutton her wet shirt. She then took it off, leaving Jisoo with only her bra.

"Are you sure? a hot bath will make you feel better though." Jisoo kept asking, although her own hands and lips were literally trembling.

Jennie let out a soft snort. Despite the downpour, she was perfectly fine, thanks to Jisoo's small umbrella that had shielded her the entire time. And here Jisoo, the one who asked, was now completely soaked, except for the areas where she had been close to Jennie.

"Yes, i'm totally fine Chu. Stop worrying about me and go take a hot shower yourself. You will catch a cold."

"Are you sur-"

"Yes, I am. Now go!"

"I mean-"

"Just go, Chu. I'm also going to prepare dinner."

"Okay then. I'll be quick." she smiled softly, planting a tender kiss on the younger's head before running off to the bathroom.

Jisoo came out after an almost one-hour shower. She made her way to the kitchen, and met by the aroma of spices mingled with the comforting sight of her wife cooking.

With silent steps, she closed the distance as she enveloped Jennie in a tender embrace, holding her waist firmly. Jennie didn't even startle, she was already so used to Jisoo's silent entrances and affectionate gestures.

In that intimate moment, amidst the clatter of pans and the sizzle of ingredients, their bond spoke volumes, weaving a tale of love and understanding that transcended mere words.

"Hi." the older girl greeted, her voice raspy from the aftermath of the rain and the soothing hot shower, causing Jennie to swallow nervously.

She had always found Jisoo’s deep voice irresistibly alluring, each roughened note sending a shiver down her spine, and with the elder's hands holding her waist tightly while her hot steady breath touched her skin, she could feel the wildness of butterflies inside her stomach.

"H-Hey, Chu." Jennie stuttered a little, she mentally cursed herself.

Dumbass, why are you suddenly nervous! THAT'S YOUR WIFE! Hold a grip, Jennie Kim, you're better than this!

"What's for dinner today, Jendeukramsay?" Jisoo asked while pressing a kiss on the back of Jennie's ear.

The cat eyed girl quickly pulled herself back to her senses as she grinned widely. "Just egg fries, ham and some kimchi soup." it's a quick meal to cook, considering it's already late.

"Smell delicious, as always." Jisoo mumbled against Jennie's neck, placing small kisses.

"Are you hungry? It's almost done. Go set up the table-"

"I mean you. You smell delicious, as always."

Jennie stood frozen in place, her mind swirling with conflicting emotions. Great, she worked hard to push certain thoughts aside, but Kim Jisoo here only added fire to it. And that deep, hoarse voice of hers? It only intensified the turmoil in Jennie's stomach.

Should i just cancel dinner? what the hell Jennie Kim, pull yourself together!

Jennie shook her head and erased the thought. That can wait, they gotta have dinner first.
