"Jen, wait..." Jisoo trailed behind her wife, trying to catch up as the younger was speeding so fast, way too fast for a person with a bruised back couldn't follow.

Jennie was pissed, her frustration fueled by her wife's stubbornness, and to top it off, Jisoo had somehow managed to win the argument this time, which is so rare (an occurrence that only happened once in a blue moon).

So what is the argument about again?

It was just Jennie wanting the elder to go to the hospital and Jisoo, being her stubborn self, vehemently resisted. She hates going to the hospital because it feels like she is a patient, a feeling she hates the most.

The younger girl simply wanted Jisoo to undergo a check-up after taking the blows, but Jisoo stubbornly refused, citing her own reasons. Jennie felt defeated and now she's pissed.

Ignoring her wife's calls, Jennie sped up, causing Jisoo to struggle to keep up. She had to take a break, pausing to catch her breath and panting with the effort, holding her (almost) broken back while she was at it.

"Jen, come on... why are we even having this lame fight in the first place, it doesn't even make sense..."

The cat eyed girl stopped abruptly, turning around to give Jisoo a glare. "So me, your wife, wanting you to go to the hospital is lame?" she fired back.

Jisoo closed the distance between them and gently grabbed the girl's wrist. "Love, it's 2 in the morning already." she tried to reason.

"And? does it even matter?"

"It doesn't. But it's not necessary. It's already late, and i told you i'm fine."

Jennie sighed heavily, knowing all too well that when Jisoo was in her stubborn mood, there was no use in trying to convince her. It was simply a waste of time.

"You didn't waste a second to take me to the hospital just because I had a slight stomach ache at 3 fucking am! So what's your point?" she retorted, her frustration evident in her voice as she pointed out the double standard in their situation.

Jisoo pursed her lips together, scratching her nape as she struggled to find the right words to reply. "T-That's... it's because-" she began, faltering as she tried to articulate her reasoning.

Jennie raised her eyebrows at the stuttering girl. "Because?"

"Because you were in pain and i couldn't stand it...?" she mumbled, pouting as she admitted.

"It's the same for me! Do you think i can stand seeing you in pain?"

"I said i'm fin-"

"Please shut up for fuck's sake!" she interrupted, her voice raised in exasperation. "You always say this! Why is it so hard for me to just worry about you? Do you think I'm happy because you used yourself to shield me? Do you think saying that you're fine makes me feel better?" she took a harsh breath before continuing.

"I don't like it when you're being nonchalant about your own well-being! No shit, i fucking hate it! Can you please stop being like this, please..." the cat eyed girl pleaded, wiping a tear that escaped her eyes.

Jisoo leaned in, wiping her tears away with her thumbs as she pressed her lips against Jennie's, in an attemt to shut her down from her tremblimg rant. The younger was about to pulled away, but the elder gently held the back of her neck, guiding her into a deeper kiss.

Jennie, caught off guard by the sudden hungry kiss, felt her wife's tongue made its way inside her, causing her resistance to melt away as she let out a soft, involuntary moan. With a knowing smirk, Jisoo deepened the kiss, kissing her wife's breath away.
