Jisoo rested her head on the steering wheel while waiting for her wife. She had excused herself to the car first, not out of rudeness or to avoid Chaerin, but simply because she felt exhausted after a long day. Her neck and back ached, her arms were numb, and her burned fingers stung.

What a fantastic day it has been.

She wasn't sure about her mission on winning over Jennie's mom heart anymore because look at her. It was just the first attempt, and she felt like dying already. Every part of her body ached. And pretty sure, she didn't leave any good impression on her mother-in-law either.

Great. Just fucking great.

Dismissing the thought, Jisoo let out a yawn, feeling her eyes slowly drooping shut. Her head throbbed with exhaustion, and she struggled to keep her eyes open.

"Chu?" Jennie whispered softly.

Jennie came in after had taken a while to say goodbye to her mom. It took a bit long since she wasn't sure when they would have time like this again, it has always been this hard to see her parents. Even today, she couldn't even see her dad.

Jennie quietly opened the door to met by her sleeping wife. Didn't have the heart to wake the older girl up, she decided to wait for the elder to wake up on her own.

The cat eyed girl smiled fondly at the sight before her eyes, just breathtakingly gorgeous. Seeing her wife sleeping so peacefully, with her mouth slightly opened for breathing, she couldn't resist poking Jisoo's cheek lightly. She softly giggled at the soft groan that escaped the girl's lips.

"So cute." Jennie whispered to herself.

Jisoo stirred suddenly, likely from hearing Jennie's soft giggles. She slowly opened her eyes. "Jen?"

The older straightened her posture and stretched her body, letting out a soft, satisfying groan. She felt much better after her short nap.

"Did I wake you up?"

"Did I make you wait?"

They both asked each other at the same time, exchanging soft giggles afterward.

"Sorry, I fell asleep a bit." Jisoo yawned, her voice hoarse from the quick nap.

Jennie smiled and shook her head. "No, it's fine Chu. Did you sleep well? I'm sorry, my giggle was a little loud."

"No worry, I did have a good nap. You should have woken me up, though. Were you planning to stay in the car and watch me sleep until I woke up on my own?" Jisoo chuckled lightly.

"You looked so adorable. Who would have the heart to wake such an angelic face while she was sleeping? You really have that face. Wow, your side profile is so pretty. I still can't believe my eyes even after all these years." Jennie gasped, marveling at her wife's beauty.

Jisoo laughed loudly, getting slightly blushed. "Gosh, Jen... are you flirting with me right now?"

"It's true, okay! Who looks that breathtaking while sleeping in a shrimp position? Only Kim Jisoo." Jennie teased, playfully defending her observation.

"Woah, woah... there woman, I'm married." the elder joked, earning a wide grin from Jennie.

"Yup, to me!" Jennie proudly raised her hand to show off the ring on her finger.

"You sound so proud."

"I am. I very much am beyond proud," Jennie proclaimed proudly, her cheeks puffing up with her grin.

Jisoo reached out to pinch her cheek. "I'm all yours, Ms. Mandu."

"Yup. All mine." Jennie affirmed, leaning in to rest her head on Jisoo's shoulder. They intertwined their fingers tightly.
