Chapter 21

Nothing much happened after I saw Harry. Dinner was chaotic Molly and Ginny kept giving me looks. Sirius took care of me. He said that if I was struggling, I could ask him for help.

One night Petra was asleep and a knock on the door startled me. I got up and answered the door and Sirius was there. "Y/n, may I talk to you for just a moment?"

I nod and leave the room closing the door. Sirius took me downstairs to the dining room and had a smile. "Y/n, you remind me a lot of my brother. His name was Regulus. My brother was always cold and we always fought."

"Sir, I don't know exactly where this is going." I looked at him with curiosity and he sighed.

He took one of my hands and patted my hand a bit. "I know it's hard to be here. Seeing your mom and sister is difficult. Just give grace. One day you are going to realize that even if they treated you horribly, you love them" Sirius said with a sad sort of smile.

"You are a smart girl. I don't want you to push Ginny away even if she frustrated you."

I nod to him and smile. "Ok sir. But if I may ask what does this exactly have to do with your brother?"

Sirius sighed and pulled his jacket across him. "My brother was cold and always argued with me. We never got along. Then he died. I realized how much i missed him. I'm not saying Ginny will die. But you must spend time with family before it's too late."

I nod again and smile. "Of course Sirius. Thank you." I stood up to leave the room until he stopped me.

"Y/n, it may not seem like it but so many people do care for you deeply. If you ever need a place to stay or some advice just talk to me. Or Lupin. He has some expertise with seeming to be an outsider."

"Thank you again. I will. You are very kind, sir." I smile and before I could leave he gave me a little hug. 

It's short I know but I need more nice Sirius cause we need some attachment to him.
