Chapter 49

I sat and waited for Draco to wake up. Mattheo would occasionally come with Petra and Pansy when they didn't have class. I stayed with him when it was supposed to be class with Snape because he let me come to see him.

I sit there thinking about killing Dumbledore myself, without Draco. I knew Harry would get in the way now.

I look at Draco and he groans and starts to wake up. "Merlin! You are awake! Are you ok?" I say moving my chair closer and taking his hand.

His movement is slow and weak as he tries to sit up. "Just relax."

He looks around and he was a bit startled but he relaxes when he sees me. "Y/n?"

He looks around and remembers what happened and he looked like he was about to break into tears. "Did Harry hurt you too?"

"No, no I am fine. Please don't cry. I know this is hard I am so sorry. I hate this too." I hug him trying not to hurt him. I was about to cry as well.

When I hug him he relaxes. I could tell he was relaxing because I was heating him up a bit. "How are you feeling?"

He lets go of the hug and sighs. "Better. Madame Pomfrey is quick. But right now I am more worried about, you know? We are losing time." Draco reminded me with a panicked tone. He was terrified and I was too.

"Draco I think it's best that I do this alone. I think I should finish this alone. Harry hurt you and I am not taking any more chances," I say sternly. I wasn't gonna let him almost die again.

Draco got a bit annoyed and worried. "No, I am not letting you do that. You are going to get yourself killed Y/n."

"Oh, stop worrying. I am not the one in the hospital bed who almost died because of their biggest enemy. Please just let me finish this I hate seeing you hurt and broken." Draco looks at me like I was some crazy person.

"Y/n I am not just going to let you do this. It is our mission and we don't know what will happen if he finds out that you only did it." He actually had a point it would be worse if The Dark Lord found out Draco didn't help.

"Ok fine, but I am not letting you do any of the crazy stuff." He gives up trying to make me realize I was being an idiot.

Draco took my hand and looked at me like I was the most important person in the world. "I love you, do you know that? You are the most beautiful, smart, spectacular person I know. I can't even imagine life without you."

He kissed me passionately pulling me close to the bed. I sit with him and kiss him harder. We kiss a bit longer before pulling away so he can rest.
