The First Weasley Daughter (Mattheo x Draco x Female Reader)

Chapter 52

For about an hour we waited holding each other while we cried. We heard a noise on the tower and prepared for the worst. We walked up the stairs hand in hand with wands out.

I could tell he was hesitating to go up and so was I. We heard talking and we quietly resumed going up the steps. He was pointing his wand at Dumbledore.

Dumbledore saw us and spoke, "Good evening, Draco and Y/n. What brings you here this fine spring evening?" Dumbledore's need to stay calm was making this harder. He knew what was happening but tried to play dumb.

"Who else is here? I heard you talking." I asked. Draco was keeping me behind him so I stayed out of the way which frustrated me a bit.

"I often talk aloud to myself. I find it extraordinarily useful." Dumbledore said quickly and confidently. Me and Draco inched closer and I moved from behind him.

I look around making sure no one was there. I felt eyes on us and I was quite suspicious. Dumbledore talked to Draco asking him and me a question but I was distracted.

Dumbledore was talking about what me and Draco have done and my attention was caught back on Dumbledore.

Draco snapped at Dumbledore. "He trusts us. We were chosen." He lifted his sleeve and I just stayed silent. Those words hit like a truck. This was more painful than anything seeing Draco like this.

The door below opened and shut and I knew the others were coming as well. Dumbledore turned to me for a second hoping I would speak again.

I raised my wand I didn't want to talk anymore I knew if I did it would regret everything.

Bellatrix and three other Death-Eaters came up and moved closer with smirks. I saw Draco wasn't going to do it so I prepared.

I was about to speak when Snape came up and stopped me. I knew Snape wouldn't hold back and I was about to cry when I saw Dumbledore. "Severus... Please." Dumbledore said and Snape raised his want.

"Avada Kedavra." Snape spoke and hit Dumbledore and he fell off the tower.

I stood there unable to move and I was staring where he fell. I get grabbed by Snape as we leave quickly.

We go to the Great Hall and Bellatrix was laughing hysterically and destroyed the large window and I saw Draco with a sad expression and it washed over me too. We walk outside and I saw a black warp appear next to me and a warm hand hold mine.

Mattheo appeared and we went toward Hagrid's hut and I let go of Matheo's hand and walked alone when I saw Draco glare at Mattheo. Harry followed and was trying to stop us.

"FIGHT BACK YOU COWARD!!" He yelled at Snape and looked at me. "Traitor." Draco grabbed my hand and so did Mattheo and we apparated away It went all dark.
