Chapter 86

"Wait wait.... You don't think it will happen?" Mattheo asks as he sits on the bed sitting me down next to him.

"I'm not 100% sure I'm even gonna live after this battle." I admit sadly. His eyes look at my body in the dress and then my eyes.

He hesitates before taking a deep breath and smiling. "We'll live. I know it. I have a feeling. You're powerful and so am I. Harry too."

I nod and kiss his cheek. "If we live I'll think about it. Marrying you." I clarify.

"Wait, does that mean?" Before he can finish I nod quickly. He laughs and stands up, picking me up and twirling me around.

Mattheo sets me down and kisses me passionately and pulls away laughing. "You better not be messing with me, Y/n!"

I smirk and kiss him. "I'm not. I love you, Matty." I whisper. Mattheo wraps his arms around me and kisses me again.

"I'll spoil you way too much, Moon." He laughs sweetly before hugging me tightly and kissing me again. He pushes my head against his, smiling against my lips.

I kiss him, closing my eyes, and wrapping my arms around him. I open my eyes for a second before pulling away from him.

His smile fades and he looks at my eyes with concern. "Too much? Blimey I'm sorry."

I shake my head and put my finger to Mattheo's lips before walking to the window.

Outside were multiple lights, looking like spells, flying towards the castle and smashing into the protective barrier around the castle.

My arms starts stinging, worse than ever before. I could tell it hit Mattheo took be he grabbed his arm and groaned loudly. I wince and look at him.His look into my eyes said everything I needed to now.

He's here.

I ran down the steps with Mattheo very quickly. Students, Professors, people from the Order, were scurrying and all over the place.

I turned to Mattheo and took his hands. "I'll see you after this ok? Don't die, do you understand?"

"I understand. You don't either, ok?" He grabbed my head and kissed me really quick before running off.

I used make up earlier to hide my mark because my dress didn't hide it. The make up started to come off but used flames from my hand to burn my arm so it was hidden.

My eyes shot up for a second and I saw Lupin running up to the Astronomy tower. My eyes lit up and I ran up as well catching up with him.

"Lupin!" I say, catching his attention. He turned to me and Remus' eyes lit up and he quickly walked to me before smiling.

"There you are. I've been worried sick for so long. We need your help." His eyes went from me to my charred arm.

"Are you alright? Do you have everything in control?" Remus sounded concerned.

"I'm fine... just hiding the mark. I want to help. Please. I know what I'm risking." What I was risking here was my entire life. And everyone I loved.

Defying Voldemort means losing everyone I love. Unless I fight back. Remus nodded and took me up the tower.

I saw Dean, Kingsley, My dad (Arthur Weasley), and Fred and George. Fred and George were staring out at the spells being thrown at the barrier. I ran up to them and tapped them on the shoulder.

Fred and George looked at me and they smile big. "Firecracker!" They said in unison. I bet Ron told them that nickname.

"Merlin, I missed you both! Ready to fight?" I ask hugging them. George ruffle my teal hair and nodded.

"As ready as we'll ever be. Awful hair by the way." Fred commented and I punch his arm.

I roll my eyes and wrap my arms around the both of the. "I'll let that slide. Just once though Freddie."

George and Fred both laughed and held on to me in side hugs. "You gonna burn your enemies?" George asked.

I laugh and let go of Fred from the side hug and cause green flames to wave in my hand. "You know it."

They both smile at me, but our attention got caught on the barrier that was coming down.

Death Eaters came flooding in and spell flew everywhere. I did not hesitate to throw fire at everyone.

Everyone else used their wands. A Death Eater came straight to me and green flames swirled around his neck burning him.

We cleared the tower quickly. A Death Eater came out of nowhere almost hitting Fred, but I threw a flame around Fred as some sorta shield. George and Fred look at me with a thankful smile before going back to fighting.
