We were in potions class the next day. Our new Professor Horace Slughorn was very jolly.

We grabbed our books, and Professor Slughorn started making introductions.

I looked over to see Draco. He seemed sad. Slughorn was about to introduce some potions until Ron and Harry walked in.

"Ahh, Mr. Potter and..." he waited for Ron to answer.

"Ron, sir Ron Weasley," Ron answered, then he saw me and waved. I wave back.

"Well, grab your books and join us," Horace commanded.

"Well, sir, we haven't gotten our books yet," Harry explained.

"Very well, go in the cabinets. There should be some books in there."

Professor Slughorn continued to talk to the class, "I have laid out some potions in front of you. Can anyone tell me what they are?"

Hermione was the only one to raise her hand. I quietly snicker, only seeing Hermione's hand in the air.

"Miss?" he asked. "Granger, sir." Hermione went forward.

"This is Veritaserum, the truth-telling potion. This one is Polyjuice Potion. Lastly, this is Amortentia or Love potion. It is rumored to smell differently to others according to what attracts them."

I looked at the potion, wondering what I would smell. Hermione then walked closer to it.

"For example, I smell freshly mown grass, new parchment, and... spearmint toothpaste." Then she looked around and walked backwards.

"Correct, Miss. Granger. Although it can't create real love, it is very powerful."

He walked over to a little bottle and held it in the air. "This is called Felix Felicis, commonly known as...."

Hermione interrupted him, "Liquid Luck."

Slughorn explained what it could do to me, and Draco was fascinated. Maybe it could help us with the mission.

"Before we start making a potion to get this bottle of Liquid Luck, we will use the Amortentia to see what we smell. Find a group and be careful."

I partnered up with Blaise, Draco, Pansy, and Enzo. Unfortunately, the others didn't go to potions class.

Enzo went first, then Blaise, then Pansy, who, of course, smelt Petra.

It was my turn, then Draco's. I didn't know who I smelt. It was overwhelming.

"I smell cinnamon, cedar, smoke, vanilla and...." I stopped before I said more.

"What? Was that it?" Enzo interrogated.

"Yeah, that is it," I said confidently so I didn't sound suspicious.

There was one more scent I left out. Mahogany apples. What confused me was the smoke and Vanilla. I know Draco's scent, which some of it was not his.

Draco was not nervous to describe anyone. "I smell Orchids, Honey, and Mint. Oh, and a hint of chocolate."

All the others looked down and smirked. They all knew it was me, thanks to Madame Pomfrey's burn cream.

We split up and started creating Draught of The Living Dead. But, of course, everyone had problems except Harry.

The class was done, and I was already exhausted.

"Blaise, can you be my partner for potions?" I asked. Blaise was the best at Potions.

Blaise nodded, but before we could leave the Potions door, Slughorn stopped me and Blaise.

"Miss. Weasley and Mr. Zabini, I would love to have you two in my Potions club."

I was surprised that he asked me as well.

Blaise answered quickly. "Yes, sir, we both would love to."

I took this as an opportunity. "Yes, we would!" I was going to be so stressed out.

Draco and I walked to lunch, and I saw Mattheo. I gave him a quick side hug and sat down next to Petra.

"Petra, guess what! Pansy smelt you in a Love potion today."

Petra smiled and kissed Pansy. "Oh really! Who did you smell, Y/n?" she looked at me curiously.

"Oh, I didn't smell much." I chuckled nervously.

Enzo laughed and started choking on his vegetable. "Yeah, totally nothing."
