Petra and Pansy were hanging out with me a lot more, so it was challenging to attend Harry's lessons.

"Where are you going? Do you want us to come?" Pansy kept asking.

"No, I want to study myself for a while. I need to concentrate." I replied.

"Sorry, Y/n, are we bothering you now? We just felt bad for not hanging out with you." Petra sadly stated.

"No, you are not bothering me. I just want to study alone. I am working on something I don't need a partner for." I assured her.

"Ok, Y/n, are you going to your parents for the break?" Pansy inquired.

"Yeah, my parents miss me and are finally getting a break from work."

"Good to know! I will write every day!" Petra exclaimed.

I arrived at Harry's lessons. He was teaching how to make a Patronus charm.

I got it first try and got a Doe! I was hanging out with Luna most of the time we were practicing.

"How did you do that?" a kid named Neville asked.

"What do you mean? Oh! You mean to get it first try. I don't know."

Harry was clapping when I did it. "I got it after two or three tries. Lupin would be proud."

Before school started, I had a long conversation with Lupin. He told me I could use my powers to help and harm people.

He tried to show me how to control them a little so I didn't use them on accident.

It didn't always work. It still happened when I got emotional.

Lupin and Sirius felt more like they cared about me than my parents. My parents didn't teach me to control them, just how to use them.

I love my parents, but it's like they are training me to use my powers.

After Harry's lessons, I was hanging out with Mattheo while packing.

"I know you won't be gone long, but I'll miss you, Y/n." Mattheo was so amazing. It was the best when he started trying to get closer to me.

"Mattheo, you will be fine. We will hang out as soon as I get back."

" I feel like I should meet your parents. I would love to get to know your family a little." Mattheo smiled.

"Mattheo, I would love to take you to meet my parents, but maybe another time."

"Come on, Y/n, why don't we ask them? I know they would love to meet me as well. I mean, I am charming! They would love me."

Mattheo was annoying when he wanted something, but he was my best friend.

"Fine, go get a letter. I will ask them and send it before dinner! You can be so annoying sometimes."

"Yeah, but you still love me, so deal with it." he pointed out.

When he returned, I wrote the letter, and we both went to the tower to send it."

"Toto! Where are you?" I looked around for my owl.

"Toto? I didn't know you had an owl. It's a cute name." Mattheo laughed.

After I sent the letter the following day, when we were at breakfast, Toto returned.

My parents said Mattheo could come. I was nervous for them to meet him, but he packed up as soon as I told him.
