"Okay darling, are you ready?", Jimin questioned as he loaded a gun in his hand. Aera nodded with a smile, but trying her best to hide how nervous she was.

They were in a training room that was at their base. Since the room was soundproof, the boys wouldn't be disturbed of the loud noise.

"Don't be nervous, petal", he reassured her, handing her the gun after loading it. She carefully positioned it in her hand, pointing it at the target in front of her.

"Just relax and don't be too tense, you'll ruin your aim that way", Aera nodded at his words, taking deep breaths. She clicked the hammer, her eyebrows narrowed and her eyes dark.

The gun fired off, the bullet going through the target infront of her. She sighed out of relief, her arms feeling sore from pointing the gun in correct position.

"Perfect aim, little blossom", he praised her, Aera smiling proudly.

Back at the house, Elijah was in his room playing with his drum set. He had gotten it a few birthdays ago but it still looked brand new, it being a perfect black and grey color.

He played away as his headphones blasted music into his ears. It wasn't too much to give him a headache, but loud enough it closed off his overwhelming thoughts. Thoughts about school or what had token place the night before. Seeing the blood that drooled from Min-gi's leg, it made him internally gag or shudder.

Armani walked in after a while, a bowl of strawberries and a glass of banana milk in her hands. She set the two down on his desk, seeing his sketchbook was open. He was in the process of drawing a big flower that would be full of different colors. She smiled softly at it, grazing it with her finger.

She walked over to him, tapping his shoulder lightly.

He turned around, quickly taking off his headphones.

"I could hear you from downstairs, it sounds good though", she teased, making him laugh out of embarrassment.

"I brought you a snack but your Appa and sister should be home soon for dinner. Is your homework done for tomorrow?", she questioned as she ruffled his hair.

"Mhm, all I had was algebra. Oh, are you still making spaghetti for dinner?", he questioned with an excited expression.

"That's the plan", she chuckled. She had gotten her own son addicted to one of her favorite childhood meals growing up.

When Jimin and Aera got home, dinner was already made and the table was set.

As everyone ate, Elijah nudged Aera in the arm sneakily to get her attention. She looked at him with knitted eyebrows, confusion filling her face.

"Tell them", he mouthed to her. She knew what he was referring to, and telling her parents now would be the best time.

"Mama? Appa?", the two looked at her with their full attention.

Aera cleared her throat, picking at her food as she tried to think of the right words. She had practiced this so many times in her head, but actually saying it out loud was going to be a fight.

"So", she started. "You know that in a year or so I'll be graduating and going out to find what I wanna do?".

"Ah, ballet dancing right? You said you wanted to do it professionally", Jimin asked, still eating but making sure his full attention was on her.

"Well yes but...", she spoke, glancing at Elijah. He nodded, signaling for her to continue and that she was doing great.

"I-I think I've found a different interest".

"Oh, well that's okay hun", Armani assured her. "Sometimes we see something that grabs our attention and our interests change, it happens".

"What is it that you think you'd like to do instead, love?", Jimin questioned, curious of what it could be that she wanted to pursue.

Aera rubbed her sweaty hands on her grey sweat pants, scared to answer her father's question. But, she needed to go into as confident as she could. Even if she may not sound so sure of herself, it needed to come from the heart like she meant it.

"I wanna be apart of the mafia, like you Appa".

The table fell silent.

Armani and Jimin were surprised to say the least. Even though they did have a conversation about when the day would come her or Elijah would wanna pursue this, it would be a really big step.

"A-And I know this probably isn't something you seen me doing or wanted me to do but...this is something I wanna do with my life. If you don't support it then I understand, I just wanted you guys to know".

"A-And she promised she would be careful!", Elijah added, making everyone laughing a bit.

"Elijah was the first person you told I'm assuming", Mani chuckled. Aera nodded, her and her little brother smiling at each other.

"Well petal", Jimin started. "Me and your mama have talked about this before, if at any point ether of you wanted to pursue this. And I promised her that I would teach and protect you two with my life. I know that you are a very independent young woman, and Appa is proud of you for that. But the mafia is something serious, and at times can be risky. So you have to promise me that if Appa teaches you about these things that you'll be careful and listen to what he says yeah?", Aera nods obediently.

"Yes Appa, I understand", she replied.

"Thank you, my little blossom", Jimin grinned sweetly, giving her a kiss on her forehead.

"Thank you for sharing this with us love, you must've been so nervous to say anything", Armani spoke, rubbing at Aera's knuckles with her thumbs.

As they continued eating, Aera glanced over at her brother. He chewed cutely but mindlessly, paying some attention to the conversation their parents were having.

She ruffled his hair randomly, startling him a bit at mid-chew. She giggled at the expression on his face, but knew he meant well.

"Thank you for helping me", she whispered. He soon smiled, feeling proud that he helped his big sister with something challenging.

"You're welcome, sis".
