"Okay little blossom, you ready for our first lesson?", Jimin questioned with a grin as he saw his daughter adjusting her boxing gloves. Today, Aera would be having her first lesson of self defense.
"Ready Appa!", she exclaimed as the boxing helmet she wore squeezed her cheeks slightly. Jimin thought she looked adorable.
"Now, obviously in most situations you will be using a gun. But, at some point you're gonna have to learn how to defend yourself when you don't have a weapon to protect you", Aera nodded at her father's words.
"What Appa wants you to do is to try and hit that punching bag as hard as you can, can you do that for me darling?", a punching bag hung right infront of her, and all she had to do was punch it.
Aera nodded, and with heavy strength she punched the bag as hard as she could. Jimin was a bit surprised at her hidden strength, considering she was smaller.
"L-Like that, Appa?", she asked, hopeful that she did it correctly.
"Yes just like that little blossom good job!", he replied with a delightful smile.
"Ah, I see my little niece is taking after her uncle Kookie", Jungkook said as he walked into the training room.
"Did you learn self defense too, uncle Kookie?"
"I sure did, sweet girl. Your uncle Joonie and uncle nini taught me when I first joined. Here, how about you show me what you can do", he encouraged her.
She was a bit hesitant, but not going to back down from such a challenge.
She started with one hard punch to the bag, and then another, and then another.
Aera hit the punching bag hard with consistent strength in her hands and arms.
Jimin and Jungkook were impressed to say the least.
She kept going at it, her face stern and her breathing fast. Aera only looked at the punching bag as if it were an enemy. She felt a type of anger, she didn't know why though. It was like rage releasing and landing on the punching bag.
She stopped after one last punch, breathing heavily as she looked at her Appa and uncle.
"Didn't know you had it in you, little blossom", Jimin said with a stunned expression. Jungkook was just as surprised, not realizing a young woman could be so strong.
They practiced other techniques with self defense, Jimin even let her practice taking punches to his padded hands.
"There you go! That's it, petal", he praised her.
And just with that, it gave Aera the ounce of confidence she needed.

"Okay I'm Scorpion this time so you pick a different character", Elijah demanded softly as his eyes focused on the tv screen in front of him.
"But Scorpion is so cool", Aera whined.
Elijah sighed but soon let out a small laugh. "Fine, you're lucky I love you".
