Today, Aera was spending her weekend with her Uncle Kookie. It was only a secret between the two, but he was her favorite uncle. Ever since she was a baby, she always had a special bond with him.

When he would play upbeat music in his car and she would dance and sing along in her car seat, or when they would sit in a fast food restaurant eating off the kids menu together. She used to get so excited when she found out her uncle Kookie would be babysitting her.

And that bond never went away, that's how special it felt to them.

Now, they were walking around on a little path around the park. Jungkook ordered them both iced coffees as his treat, the two of them taking sips from time to time as they walked around.

"Uncle Kookie can I ask you something?".

"Of course, princess", he replied with a hum.

"When...When did you know you were falling in love with aunt JJ and uncle Tae Tae?".

The question was sudden, but it made Jungkook smile to himself as he thought about it.

"Well sweet girl", he sighed with a grin. "When I met your aunt JJ, I thought she was one of the most beautiful women I'd ever seen. Though, around that time I was still trying to figure out myself and all the mafia bullshit", Aera nodded as he continued.

"I was so shy and more introverted in a sense than your other uncles. But when I met aunt JJ, I couldn't stop talking that entire night. It was like she broke down this social barrier I had for myself. The more we talked and got to know each other, I had realized I was falling in love with her".

"And uncle TaeTae?".

"Well with him, he already felt like a brother since the beginning. He was always there for me since I'm the youngest out of all of us. We always goofed off the most when we were younger and got scolded by uncle Jinnie", the two laughed at the sudden image of Jin scolding the two boys.

"I didn't have the kind of feelings I had for aunt JJ with him until I started to explore my sexuality more, and she was just fine with that. And as time went on, I started to like him as well. But it scared me because I was already in a relationship and it honestly felt like I was cheating. But I found out that uncle TaeTae liked me too when we kissed at the baby shower we had for you".

"Seriously? You decided to kiss there?", Aera laughed as she nudged him in the shoulder.

"Yah!", Kook laughed himself, nudging her back. "It was an in the moment kind of thing, it wasn't planned. And when your uncle JJ walked in on us I was terrified, my heart dropped in my chest and I'm sure it felt the same for TaeTae. But, she wasn't upset. And to find out that she liked him all along herself made me more relieved than you think", he chuckled.

"How does it feel? To be in love?", Aera asked.

"Well it...it feels amazing sweetheart", he replied. "Everyday I get to wake up to the people I care and love for the most. It almost feels like a dream sometimes, the ones you never wanna wake up from".

Aera nodded with a fond grin, happy that her uncle found the two loves of his life.

"What are all the lovey dovey questions for huh?", Jungkook teased.

Hanni toke a shy sip from her coffee once again before speaking. "Well, it's about the girl I told you guys about. We confessed to each other a few months ago and now we're basically going out, there just isn't a label on it yet".

"Well, do you want there to be a label?".

"More than anything, and I'm sure she wants there to be one too. But...I can tell she's scared. I won't say too much but she's been through a lot in the past and I just want her to feel safe about people knowing we're together".

Jungkook hummed, guiding Aera to sit down on a near by bench they were just about to walk past.

"Listen sweet girl, you are an amazing young woman and I'm so glad you've found someone that makes you happy. And there will always be these harsh assholes that will judge you but fuck them, you deserve to be happy and you deserve to love who you want to love. And she is so lucky to have you", Aera smiled at his words, being pulled into his arms. She could feel tears stinging her eyes, tears full of relief and reassurance.

"Everything is gonna be okay, you don't owe anyone an explanation for your relationship. You two come out when you want to yeah?", Aera nodded, little sniffles leaving her nose.

"Now, how about we go visit uncle TaeTae at work?", Jungkook hummed as they made their way back to his car.

As they drove, they sung and danced along to songs just like they always did. It was them bonding, nothing could ever ruin that.
