Armani was sitting in the bathroom, just getting home from picking up Elijah because Aera had ballet practice.

She hadn't been feeling well these last few days. She was having consistent morning sickness, having to sit on the cold bathroom floor for hours. Her hormones felt off-balance, trying not to become moody around Jimin and the kids.

She simply felt a mess and only had one solution to her issue.

A pregnancy test.

It was sitting there, on the cold bathroom counter. Armani had been pacing back and forth, nervous as it toke its time to load an answer. She didn't like that feeling, the feeling of waiting. It dragged on so long, it made her too anxious.

Once she had felt like she waited for the appropriate time to look, she slowly flipped it over.

Positive.

She gasped softly, her hand covering her mouth as her eyes began to water.

Even though Elijah was a freshman in high school now, it felt like not that long ago she gave birth to her first child.

It was so overwhelming in the moment, but she felt so happy. That she wouldn't have to go through the whole empty nest stage. Because that's how she would feel once her two babies left to pursue lives of their own, with possible kids of their own.

She slid down on the side of the wall, crying tears of joy. She held the test close to her test, her grip tight as she thanked the man above over and over again.

She smiled through her tears of how happy Jimin was going to be, having tears of his own she was sure.

Speaking of him, her phone began to vibrate in her pocket. Armani smiled seeing it was him calling; he always called her after he got off of work.

"Hi my love! I'm on my way home but I was gonna stop at your favorite sushi place. Do you want California rolls like usual?".

Armani melted at the simple fact he had always remembered something as simple as her usual sushi order.

But, sadly since it was a raw food she couldn't have it because of her now current pregnancy.

"I-I actually just ate leftovers from last nights dinner, but you could grab yourself something babe", she lied, making a last minute excuse.

"Oh okay baby, I love you and I'll be home soon"

"I love you more", she replied, hanging up the phone as she smiled to herself.

She had just remembered that their anniversary was coming up, and they always went out on a date that night.

And Armani knew just how she was going to break the exciting news to her husband.

Ballet practice had just ended for Aera, but she had stayed a few minutes after with Hanni and Dae before heading home.

"I have so much homework to do", Dae whined. "And I still have to practice my solo for band".

"Maybe if you weren't talking to that boy from America 24/7, you wouldn't be so behind", Aera pointed out with a bit of teasing.

"Way to be obvious", Dae mumbled as she rolled her eyes of annoyance.

"I could help you with homework during study hall tomorrow, I don't have much to do myself", Hanni offered with a slight shrug.

"And this is why you are now my favorite", Dae replied with a sigh of happiness. Aera rolled her eyes playfully, what would she ever do with her menace of a friend?

Dae left and Hanni and Aera left together shortly after.
On the way to Hanni's house, it was a silent but comfortable ride. Music played in the background but not too loud.

"My parents asked if you wanted to have dinner with us again sometime", Aera brought up as she made another turn.

"Oh, I'd love to", Hanni grinned but a bit surprised. "I didn't think they would like me, do you think they've noticed that I'm...you know", she slightly gestured to herself.

"O-Oh well...I don't think they have but it could be a possibility. My parents aren't people that would be judgmental so I wouldn't worry about it", Aera reassured the girl.

Hanni nodded at that, only a little reassured. She couldn't help but overthink it though, sudden thoughts swirling in her head. Maybe Aera's parents were supportive of the community, but how would they feel that their daughter was dating a trans girl?

Though the thought did scare her, she trusted Aera. She felt so safe around her, and maybe that was where the love for her began.

As they pulled up to Hanni's house, the car came to a stop.

"I'll text you once I'm in bed yeah?", Aera spoke, Hanni nodding with a grin.

As Hanni opened the car door, she pressed a soft kiss on Aera's cheek. All Aera did was smiled sweetly at the action, so used to the cute gestures they often gave each other.

Aera leaned in, the two of them sharing a sweet kiss. They never went past that point, only cute pecks on the cheek or kisses on the lips when not many people were around.

"Maybe at the next dinner you come to...we can tell my parents about us", Aera suggested. "O-Only if you want to though".

Hanni giggled at her panicked tone. "I do, I'll even make my famous brownies to share".

The two girls laughed as she got out, Aera not moving an inch in her car until Hanni made it safely into her house.

As Aera drove home that evening, a soft smile laid on her lips.

As if this is what falling in love felt like, she wished she could've experienced it sooner.
