Jimin and the boys sat in their meeting room, each of them taking turns looking at the pictures Aera had sent to Taehyung.
"How did you even get these? You didn't just go down to the school did you?".
Taehyung held small panic in his eyes. "No no, i-it was some spam message I got earlier", he lied. He knew they wouldn't buy that bullshit of an excuse. Jimin drew a long glare into the man's eyes, knowing he was lying.
Jimin rose an eyebrow at the man's excuse, knowing he was lying. He could see the nervous look already forming in his face, not able to hide it very well.
"Okay then", Jimin spoke. "I guess I'll just go and track down whoever sent these and have them murdered".
"No don't!", Tae exclaimed with panic. He sighed, seeing Jimin's teasing smile. Tae sighed, knowing he had to give in.
"Their from Aera, I guess she snuck into the principals office and whoever was there before her was looking at the schools funding", Jimin's face softened hearing her daughters name.
"Aera? She would never", Jimin replied, not believing she would be sneaking around school for information that didn't involve her.
"She didn't mean any harm Jimin-ah, she did this because she believes that it was one of Wooyoungs men he sent to do this".
"That doesn't matter Tae", Namjoon sighed, running his hand through his hair. "She was truss passing and looking at private information only for school officials to see".
"Way to point out the obvious", Jungkook mumbled.
"Yah! Respect your hyungs", Jin scolded the maknae, hitting him on the back of his head. Jungkook groaned in pain, annoyed by the sudden scolding.
"Look just please don't get onto her for this, she was only trying to help-". "When I specifically told her to not get involved", Jimin interrupted him. "She promised me".
"Teenagers make promises all the time dumbass that doesn't mean they're gonna keep them! Aera is the sweetest girl, an angel even. She wouldn't break a promise if it was something as dangerous as this", everyone flinched at his sudden outburst, not seeing such a side appear from Kim Taehyung.
Taehyung sighed once more, feeling a hand start rub small circles on his back. He looked and saw it was only Jungkook, who grinned at him with comfort and encouragement in his eyes. Tae returned it, looking back at the rest of the boys.
"She's just trying to help, please understand that. I know it scares you that she wants to do what we do, because of whats happened before. With your father and how he practically forced you to do this. But, she wants to do this and she wants to do it now".
Jimin let his words sink in, taking them into consideration. He looked back at the times in his life he felt forced. And then came the days as he got older that he felt free. Those two words hold different but strong meaning. He knew one thing, Aera wasn't gonna go through that.
He let a shaky breath, his eyes slightly glossy. "Okay, I'll let her", he decided. "Just...Just promise me rather she's with me or with any of you...you'll keep her safe".
"We promise, hyung", Jungkook replied.
"We'll protect her with our life", Taehyung agreed, nodding with certainty.
"So", Yoongi sighed, a little smirk playing on his face. "Now that it's decided, is she joining the team?".
Jimin formed a small smile to himself, the realization hitting him.
"Yeah, yeah she is".

Aera and Elijah walked into the house, just getting out of school.
"Okay so I'm going to see if I can look for any more information on the school funding, uncle TaeTae told me he would text me back once he sorted it out-",
Elijah and Aera froze as they saw their parents sitting in the living room.
"Have anything you wanna tell us?", Mani asked, soft but firmly. The two teenagers stood there, nether answering. But Aera knew she couldn't lie, especially to her parents.
Sighed in defeat, confessing being her only option. "Elijah has nothing to do with this, he just wanted to help. I was just trying to help, I thought it would've had something to do with Wooyoung and his team so that's why I did what I did. I know I promised that I wouldn't get involved, and I'm sorry. But he's after me, he's after all of us. And I'm not just gonna sit around and do nothing".
"And that's why I want you to join the team", Jimin confessed. Aera thought he was joking, that this was some type of early April fools prank or something.
"W-What?".
"He wants you to be apart of the team love, everyone does. Your uncle TaeTae somehow convinced him", Mani chuckled. Jimin chuckled himself. "And he was right, you're a very intelligent girl, little flower. And I would hate myself forever if I didn't let you pursue this".
She ran over to him, Jimin standing up just in time to catch her in his arms for a hug. She begin to sob happily in his shoulder, thank you's spilling out of her mouth.
"For real this time?", she cried out, tears streaming down her red cheeks.
Jimin laugh through tears himself. "For real this time, my sweet girl".
Elijah and Armani joined them, being embraced into the hug as well. "I love you all so much, I promise to always be here to protect you okay?", Jimin said through tears.
And he truly meant that.
Even if it was his own life at stake, he would die for each and every one of them.
