Yuvraj pov

It's been a few days since i met her. Now everything is back to normal the way it was before her except i can't take her out of my mind!

Four of us were having breakfast like usual. Suddenly ,the topic shifted to marriage again! No matter how much i try to avoid it, maa just bring it up every time.

I don't want to marry anyone other than her.

"Tere liye ek bahut acha rishta aaya hai avu! Ek baar mil le. Bahut achi family hai aur ladka bhi independent aur successful hai!" Maa said looking at Avu.

Ohh finally! its not about me. Its about Avu. Wait what? But she is just a kid. How can they think of getting her married!

"Kartik Agnihotri, you might know him. He was your senior in high school!" Maa said.

Avu galred at maa and said, "Ohh! Now you failed to convince bhai to get married, so you started persuading me!"

"She didn't mean it that way Avu! Bs ek baar milkr to dekhle ladke se phr tu decide kr lena." Papa said calmly.

Papa then showed her the photograph of the guy. He seem familiar maybe because he was in same high school as me and Avu.

Avu looked at the photograph for one whole minute and her face lit up in excitement.

"Wait... Kartik Agnihotri, the captain of basketball team. He looks even more handsome now! I had this huge crush on him. I just can't believe this!!" She said exitedly only to realise that we all are still here.

"Uhh.. actually i... i meant... uh... i am ready to meet the guy!" Avu said and me and papa looked at her raising our eyebrow.

"Stop staring at her!" Maa said to me and papa.

"And dare say anything to my daughter and you both will be sleeping in the garden tonight!" Maa warned me and papa.

"But maa...." I was about to say but she didn't let me finish my sentence.

"What? tu khud to shaadi k liye tayyar hai nahi ab avu mere kehne pr ladke se mil rahi h to tujhe usme bhi problem h!" Maa said giving me a death glare.

"But maa she is a kid and she wasn't even ready yet but just because he was her crush in childhood she agreed!!" I said trying to make her understand my point of view.

"First of all she is 25, not a kid. And secondly, she is just going to meet him!!" Maa said in a duh tone.

"Bhai i get it you are worried! But trust me i am not a kid!" Avu said patting my back.

"Yeah i know that very well!" I said mocking her.

She just rolled her eyes at me.

"Well i invited the Agnihotri's at our place for dinner tonight!" Maa declared.

"Already!" Me and Avu said in unison.

"I know my daughter very well. Ohk!" Maa said smiling sheepishly.

It's 6 in the evening and Agnihotri's are already here.

"Namaste uncle! Namaste aunty!" Avu said greeting the elders who returned her gesture politely.

After everyone was done with greeting eachother, everyone sat down chit chatting about random topics.

The elders were busy chit chatting suddenly maa asked ,"Where's your daughter in law? Your son Akash got married right!"
