Yuvraj's pov

"This is not over yet old bastard. Don't worry, I'll make your journey to hell memorable for you." I said, throwing another punch at his face as he laid on the floor unconscious.

"Thank you." I heard Roop mutter behind me, and i turned to look at her.
She was holding back her tears. Things that have happened with her in the past breaks my heart. She didn't deserve any of it.
The past few days have been hard on her.

"I'll do anything for you." I said with a soft smile as i wrapped my hands around her waist.

"Thank you for your help." She said, looking behind me as she broke the hug.

I turned around to come face to face to Aryan and Amisha Goenka.

Aryan was the one who gave Mr. Goenka, the idea to kidnap me and Roop so we could enter his mansion. We decided to split so Roop could get her answers, and i could steal the will of Adarsh Kashyap. This way, she can legally claim everything that is hers.

"Can you all give us privacy, and yeah, we will talk about your job status later on except for Ryan uncle. You are fired, effective immediately." Roop said with a tight-lipped smile as the man clenched his fist and stormed out.

"You don't have to thank me. In fact, i am so sorry that i could never be the brother you deserved. I wish i could have protected you." Aryan said with a sad smile as the two of them stood in front of each other awkwardly.

"You know i always hated you for not being a good brother, but now that i realized that you were just too busy being a good son, protecting your mother that you had to watch me suffer." Roop said softly.

"I wanted to tell you about the shares the day i found out, but.... but dad would have killed mom if i did. When he found out i helped you run away that day, he planned that accident." Aryan said, sighing as a tear escaped his eyes.

"I am really sorry. I hope things were different. I hope we could have had a normal childhood, but we can't change it, but i promise I'll always be your sister." Roop said, taking a deep breath, patting his hair gently.

"I'll always be your brother." He replied, engulfing her into a hug. Roop was clearly caught off guard as she stood their frozen for one good minute before hugging him back.

"What are you going to do with him?" Amisha Goenka asked, pointing at her unconscious husband.

"You wouldn't want to know." I answered honestly.

"Just make sure he suffers enough to regret every time he blinks." She said, sighing defeatedly, and i nodded.

"You are staying home now?" Aryan asked Roop. Aryan kind of knows about the truth of our marriage.

What if she chooses to stay?
What if she divorced me now?
She doesn't need me anymore.

"This was never my home. Besides, i found my home in someone else." Roop's voice broke the chain of my thoughts as i found her staring at me with a bright smile on her face.

I placed my hand on my racing heart, hoping to calm it down when she came and stood by my side, enveloping her arm with mine.

"You finally learned how to smile. Kisi ki nazar na lagge meri bachi ko." Amisha Goenka said, looking at roop.

"Dhyan rakhna iska." She said, turning her attention towards me, and i nodded.

We decided to go to Kashyap's place directly from Niyati Awas. I don't know how Anurag and Radhika are going to take this news.

~~

I stepped out of the car as me and Roop walked inside Anurag's house. Roop held my hand in a tight grip. She does this every time she's nervous.

"We don't actually have to tell them." Roop murmured, looking at the door in front of her.

"You are their family. They deserve to know it." I said, pulling her closer to me.

"Thank you for always having my back." She said as she tip-toed on her legs and pecked my lips. I couldn't help but smile.

"Let's head in." I said, and she nodded.

I opened the door only to witness Anurag hugging someone. It took me a couple of minutes to realize it was my own sister.

When did this happen?

"Avu?" Roop said, smiling brightly as she saw Avu.

Avu quickly broke the hug and looked at us in surprise. Anurag, too, followed the suit. He rubbed his palm on the back of his neck as he looked here and there.

"Bhai... Roop? Umm, you here?" She said, clearing her throat awkwardly.

"Uhh, I have big news." Roop said nervously, fidgeting her fingers.

"Good or bad?" Anurag asked, worried.

"Depends on you." Roop said smiling nervously.

"Where's Radhika?" I asked.

"She will be here any moment. I was here to meet her only." Avu replied immediately.

When Radhika came back, Roop narrated the whole story to them, leaving the details, which concluded her being their cousin.

"Roop." I said sternly, looking at her as she nervously bit her lip.

"Well, there's a plot twist." Roop said, averting her eyes from mine.

"There's more plot twist?" Radhika said, looking at her wide-eyed.

"That's too much of character development." She added sighing.

"Well, my grandfather's name is Aadarsh Kashyap." Roop said, gulping nervously.

Radhika and Anurag gasped audibly.

"Him being a Kashyap is just a coincidence, right?" Avu asked, blinking multiple times.

"He was dadu's brother. After dadi passed away, bua became his whole world, but then bua got married. She stopped visiting him, talking to him. The last time we saw bua was on chote dadu's funeral." Anurag elaborated.

"You knew about mumma?.... me?" Roop asked as her hands started shivering. I held her palms in mine.

"Bua had cut all ties with us on funeral. The last time we ever saw her was on her own funeral, 15 years ago. We had no idea she had a daughter." Radhika said as a tear escaped her eyes.

"I am sorry." She said as she came and sit beside her.

"It wasn't your fault." Roop said as her voice broke.

"That bastard is still alive, right?" Anurag asked, clenching his fist, and i nodded.

"Good because we need to settle some scores with him." He added.

"We do." I nodded as he and Radhika hugged my wife.

Avu sat beside me and looked at me with a smile on her face.

"We should forget about bad things, shouldn't we?" She said with a smile and my heart warmed.

She hasn't talked to me properly ever since the Agnihotri broke the engagement.

"I am sorry." I said and she shook her head as she hugged me.

"No. It was unfair on my part. But i didn't blame you for anything... I just needed time. You are the best brother i could have asked for." She said smiling.

Roop is happy now.
Avu too.
I felt happy.
Truly happy.
And complete.
