Yuvraj's pov

A loud noise woke me up. I immediately checked the bed beside me, only to find it empty.

"Roop?" I called her getting up from the bed.

There's a 80% chance she's headed to the kitchen.
15% chance she's going to murder someone and a 5% chance that she had to use the restroom.

"I am sorry to disturb your sleep." I saw her standing near the broken flower vase with a pout when I switched on the lights.

"Are you bare feet!" I exclaimed.

"Just stay there, okay?" I added as I noticed she was about to move.

Wearing my slippers, I went towards her and picked her up in my arms. After helping her sit on the bed, I made her wear her footwear and cleaned the broken vase.

"Can I go now?" She asked, getting up from the bed.

"What do you want to eat?" I asked, raising my brow.

"Uh... not me. It's your baby." She said, caressing her swollen belly as I chuckled.

"Okay, so what does our baby want to eat?" I asked again, and her eyes lit up in happiness.

"Noodles." She said, giving me a cheeky smile.

"Roop, We decided we are not going to eat anything unhealthy past bedtime at least." I said, squinting my eyes.

"Please." She said, giving me puppy eyes.

"This is the last time." I announced, and she nodded as we headed downstairs.

It's been five months since we found out we are having a baby.
A little part of us.
I can't wait to hold our baby in my arms.
She's 24 weeks pregnant now. A few more weeks to go.

"Now sit here, I'll make noodles for you." I said, and she grinned as she raised her face, inching it closer to mine.

I was still looking at her face. She frowned and backed away.

"You are too tall. Forget it. I will not do so much hard work just for a kiss." She said, huffing.

"Just pull me down from now onwards." I said, bending down to her height as she pressed her lips on mine.

"I want noodles now." She said, breaking the kiss, and I nodded, chuckling.

"I can already smell it." She said, inhaling a deep breath.
Drama queen.
But the weird part is that I can smell it, too.

Shrugging my shoulders, I walked towards the kitchen as Roop followed me.

"You should go and sit. I'll serve it to you." I said, and she shook her head.

"I wouldn't want to miss the view." She said, winking at me. Even after two years of marriage, I still feel my cheeks heating up at her flirty remarks.

"The light of kitchen in on too!" I said as we were about to enter the kitchen.

"On second thoughts, we should leave. I suddenly don't want to eat anymore." Roop said, holding my arms.

I looked at her, confused. Suddenly, I heard a giggle from the kitchen, and Roop's eyes widened.

"Who can be in the kitchen at this hour?" I said, and she gulped nervously.

"Leave it, Raj. It doesn't matter." She said, trying to pull me with her.

"You will burn it, you idiot!" I heard my sister's voice from the kitchen.

Who is she talking to?

Before Roop could say anything else, I barged inside the kitchen.

"Shut up. Let me focus." I heard Anurag as soon as I entered the kitchen.
