Louis raised his face and looked at me, anxious for my answer. “I don’t have enough room.” I said. “You could take the family car.” Lilly said back. I nodded. “I’ll pick them up.” I sighed. “Thank you.” Louis kept repeating. “Thank you.” Liam said. “You two have to come with me because I don’t know who I’m looking for.” I giggled. We finished our meals and went out to the parking lot. Lilly got in to the back of my car and Liam stuck with me. We were half way home when my phone started going off. “Lilly could you get it. It’s in my bag?” I asked since I was driving.

Lilly grabbed my bag and pulled out my IPhone. “It’s Travis. He wants to know if you’re going to Amber’s tonight.” Lilly read aloud for my phone. Amber was one of our friends who always has parties. Travis was also known by many as T mills the rapper/ tattoo artist. My father hated him for those reasons but most of all the age difference between him and I. he was 23 and I am 16.

I don’t find it that big of a deal. And my father is never really around so it doesn’t matter. “No, tell him I’m staying home tonight.” Lilly’s fingers tapped away. “He asked if you could give him a ride to the Ambers. His car was getting repaired and it’s ready but he has no way of getting there.” Lilly read. “Ask him what time.” “8” Lilly replied.  “What time does your girlfriend get in?” I asked Liam.  “7” Liam said looking at the time. “We have one hour.” “Ok so we’ll drop you off. Get Louis and the escalade and go to LAX.” I planned aloud.

We got home and got straight in to the other car. “So. Is Travis your boyfriend?” Liam asked. A smirk formed across my face. “No.” I replied. “Who’s Travis?” Louis asked from the back seat. “My friend we have to give him a lift.” I replied. We drove up to LAX arrivals. I waited in the car as Louis and Liam walked up to the doors. Two girls ran up right in to their arms. I looked down at my phone so they wouldn’t think I was staring.

“Katherine this is Eleanor.” Louis said opening the back door. “Hello.” I said turning to face them getting in to the back. “Hi.” She replied buckling up in the back seat with Louis. “This is Danielle.” Liam said as she climbed in to the seat behind me. “Hey.” I said. “Hello.” She said kindly.

Liam got in a closed the door. I listened to the faint sound of the radio playing as the girls started talking to the boys. I drove to Travis’s house. I stopped in front of his house and pulled out my phone. “Where are we?” one of the girls asked. “She just has to drive her friend somewhere.” Lou said quietly. “Sorry he asked last minute.” I said looking in to the back.

I could tell the age difference between Eleanor and Danielle. Travis walked out of his house and got in to the car. “This is Travis. Trav this is Liam, Louis, Eleanor and Danielle.” I said getting back on the road. “Hey.” Travis said. Everyone said their hellos but went  quite. Travis’s appearance probably caught them off guard. Stretchers in his ears, covered in tattoos. “So where’s your car?” I asked.

“Ricky’s.” Travis replied. “So how long you going to be at Ambers?” I asked being able to feel the awkward silence in the car. “Not too long. I have to be in the studio tomorrow. I was going to ask you when does school start up?” Travis asked.  “In a few days.” I sighed.

“I’ll see you before then.” Travis said as I came to a complete stop. “We’ll find someone’s party to go to before school starts up for you.” Travis teased knowing I was the youngest out of the people we hung out with. I rolled my eyes. “Just go to Amber’s.” “See you later babe.” Travis said back. I was confused he never has called me babe before. “Sorry about that.” I said looking in to the back seat. Everyone sat there quietly.  “Anymore stops?” I asked.

“We haven’t had dinner yet.” Danielle whined. “Martin will make something.” I said before the boys could reply. “How long will we have to wait because I’m starving?” Eleanor asked.

“Not long at all.” I said pressing a button to call home. “Hello miss Katherine.” Martin answered. I sighed because after the millions of times I’ve asked him just to call me Kat he doesn’t.
