Giyuu:
Sanemi seemed fine just a few days ago, how could this have happened?
I will never forget the day that it happened.

Narrator:
"I promise I don't need that yukata, Shinazugawa." Giyuu tried convincing the white haired man. "Nonsense, I'll get you whatever you want." Sanemi smiled gently at Giyuu. Giyuu opened his mouth to speak but Sanemi had already entered the store. Giyuu sighed as he sat on a nearby bench, waiting for his partner.

(Days later)
Giyuu:
I was trying to sleep but then I felt cold. Colder than usual, I was always cold without Sanemi, but, I was freezing in that moment. I fell asleep despite my body temperature.
Morning soon came and I looked out the window. I saw Sanemi's crow, I didn't think much of it.
I heard a knock on my door and I turned to face the person. What was Uzui doing here? "Shinazugawa's dead." He simple stared. I froze. "No he's not! He was just fine a few days ago!" I tried protesting. Uzui sighed and he gestured for me to follow him.
"He wasn't breathing when we went to check on him, he's dead, Tomioka." I scoffed, thinking they were just pranking me.
They weren't.
I entered Sanemi's estate and I walked into his room. I found him lying on his bed, facing the ceiling with a white cloth on his face. I gently pulled it aside, revealing Sanemi's peaceful sleeping face. I tugged on his clothes. "Shinazugawa wake up." I pulled again. He didn't wake. I smacked his arm gently. Nothing. I started getting worried and I shook his body. "Wake up wake up!"

Uzui:
It hurt me to see Tomioka like that, he didn't believe that Shinazugawa was truly dead.

Giyuu: I kept shaking his body until I gave up. Tears streamed down my face. "Shinazugawa!" I yelled out of sorrow. I cried into his chest, hearing soft gasps and whispers from those behind me. "Why did you leave me... Nemi..?"
