Narrator:
"Do you think they forgot..?" Sanemi's boyfriend called out softly, making him turn to him at the sound. "I'm sure they didn't, and if they did I'd be sure to beat their fvcking @sses in the morning." Sanemi replied, trying to lighten up the mood. Seeing that Giyuu's expression still hasn't changed he frowned and walked up to him.
"Don't worry, even if they don't come you still have me right?" Sanemi cupped Giyuu's cheek, making him look at him. "Yeah but... This is the first time I'm doing something like this... I just thought they'd be happy I had opened up and supported me..." Sanemi nodded in understanding. "I know darling," Sanemi looked at Giyuu lovingly. "I'm sure they'll show up."
Giyuu sniffled softly as Sanemi soothed him. "Let's just go to the hashira meeting, okay?" Giyuu nodded and followed Sanemi out.
When they reached the mansion Giyuu suddenly heard cheers from multiple people. He looked up to see all the hashira celebrating him a happy birthday. Giyuu looked at Sanemi, his lips slightly parted in surprise. "D-Did you do this?" He asked the slightly taller man. "I did, I wanted to make this birthday special." Sanemi ruffled his hair. "Come on, let's have fun."
