Angst
Uzugiyuu friendship (not ship)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Narrator:
The ravenette arranged the necessary picnic items. They always did this each week. Giyuu folded the picnic blanket neatly into the basket, placing it at the very bottom before he started piling everything else in. The crisp air of spring swirled around him. He could see the cherry blossom petals fall in through the window and into his home. The colour matched his cheeks when he blushed. His lover's cheeks.
He headed for the stone village once he was done. He noticed how the Cherry blossoms seemed to follow him wherever he went. He smiled softly at the running thoughts in his head. He had arrived at the village made his way to their meeting spot.
He waited for the other to arrived. He noticed how the cherry blossoms danced around him, almost like they were entertaining him.
He heard faint footsteps, they got louder with each second that passed. Soon, he saw the figure of Tengen Uzui before him. "Tomioka," The tall man started. "You do know he's gone, right?" He gestured to the stone home beside them. It was a memorial ground for Sanemi. "You remember? His guts, they spilled out of his body." Tengen could sense the hurt and pain the ravenette held inside. "Of course I know, Tengen." He watched as the other sat infront of him. "You're so pathetic, Tomioka." Tengen chuckled sadly.
He noticed how Giyuu's hands clenched, how they gripped the fabric of his yukata. Then, his sensitive ears picked up the sounds of sniffling, then, the sounds of water plopping down. The ravenette was crying. Tengen slowly took his hand, rubbing the back of it, mimicking the action Sanemi always used to do. It calmed the ravenette down, just slightly. It wasn't the same. Tengen didn't have the rough, calloused hands Sanemi had. Oh, how he so desperately wanted to hold Sanemi's hands again. To hold him.
His tears subsided after a while. He sniffled, bringing the sleeve of his yukata to his eyes. "Thank you, Uzui." He whispered. "Enough with the formalities Tomioka! How long have we known eachother? Call me Tengen!" He grinned in an attempt to lighten the mood. It worked, Giyuu gave a small smile. "Then, you can address to me as Giyuu."
He replied.Tengen stayed with him the whole time he was there. Talking to Sanemi and telling their own stories about him. Tengen loved how he could make Giyuu smile just at the mention of Sanemi's name. Giyuu loved Sanemi dearly. He could never stop doing that.
The cherry blossoms followed Giyuu home. Giyuu knew that it was Sanemi. Watching over him.
"I love you, Sanemi. I'll never stop loving you.
