Narrator:
"I can stay home if you'd like, I want to spend as much time as I can with you, your... 25th birthday is in a few weeks..." Sanemi told Giyuu, stroking his ebony locks. "I'll be fine Nemi, just go visit Tengen..." Giyuu smiled weakly. "I'm taking you with me then." Sanemi confirmed as he lifted Giyuu onto his back. Giyuu giggled as he leaned in and rested his head on Sanemi's shoulder. "You're so light now... You need to eat when we get there okay..?" Sanemi said in a concerned voice. "Alright Nemi, anything for you..."
They arrived at the Uzui house and they just talked all day. Sanemi reminded Giyuu to eat something small every now and then just to make sure he was healthy.

(8th Feb)
"Happy birthday my love, I got you a present-" Sanemi walked in on Giyuu coughing up blood onto the ground. Sanemi immediately dropped the box and he rushed to Giyuu's side. "Giyuu!" Sanemi's eyes started watering. "Hi Nemi..." Giyuu's eyes flickered before shutting again. "You'll be okay! I-I promise! You won't die on me!" Sanemi yelled out of anger and sorrow. "Smile for me, please... I want to see it one last time..." Sanemi immediately complied, his trembling lips slowly curling up into a weak smile.
"I love you Giyuu, I won't let you leave me like this!" He cried harder. "I love you too Nemi..." Giyuu whispered, pressing his hand against Sanemi's cheek. Sanemi's tears started falling into Giyuu's face but they were quickly wiped by Sanemi's thumbs. "Stay with me okay..? Just for a little longer..." Giyuu smiled softly and he slowly lifted his torso up to kiss Sanemi. Sanemi immediately returned the kiss.
Sanemi deepened the kiss, trying to make Giyuu's last moments the best. Sanemi pulled away. Giyuu was no longer breathing. "Giyuu..? Giyuu!" Sanemi yelled. He cried uncontrollably into Giyuu's chest. "My love... I'll love you and remember you until I die..."
