Narrator:
He looked to the empty spot beside him, it was usually occupied by his loving but bully of a husband.
Sanemi had travelled to a different country on a business trip, leaving poor Giyuu alone in their mansion of a house. Giyuu thought he could handle being alone for a week but he was proven wrong. He thought the days would fly by but the days just seemed to go on slower than usual.
After a few hours of not being able to fall asleep he decided to call Sanemi.
The phone rang once, twice, then three times before it was answered. "Yeah?" A low gruff voice said from the other end. "Hi." Giyuu said, his voice quiet. "Giyuu, love, why are you awake? You're supposed to be asleep." Sanemi said, his tone filled with concern. "Yeah, I just... I just missed you..."
Sanemi's heart swelled at the sweet words from his husband. "Fvck," Giyuu could hear the rustling of a blanket and the clicking of a pen. "I miss you too, assh0le." Giyuu chuckles at his potty mouth. "I'll be back this week so just wait a little longer for me okay?" Giyuu is silent for a moment, thinking about what he should say.
"It's been too long already..." He finally says, huffing sadly when he finished. The silence was loud when Giyuu had said that.
"I know, fvck, I miss you too but you have to wait, love, I'll bring you something back, just tell me what you want." Giyuu could hear the sound of a pen being set down. "Alright... I'll try." Giyuu mumbled quietly. "Go to sleep now, it's late for you and you need rest."
"Fine, call me everyday?" Giyuu asked to which Sanemi agreed to. "See you soon, love"
