Rosa was at the airport with Laila's car. She looked concerned but annoyed, and the five players climbed into the car while Rhemann found his car in the garage. Laila drove back to the dorm and when they arrived, Rosa spoke up.
"We shouldn't have gotten mad at you," Rosa said. "I'm sorry. We all saw the show. You looked terrified."
Minna shrugged. "It's okay. I didn't tell you guys much."
Rosa looked like she wanted to say more, but Minna climbed out of the car and pulled the half-asleep Jeremy after her.
Jeremy's legs were essentially noodles and he could barely walk to the elevator. Out of pure frustration, Minna picked him up and carried him to his dorm. Toni was up and answered the door, tired but willing to help his sleepy roommate to bed.
Once Minna had handed off Jeremy, she made her way next door and flopped into bed, not bothering to change or shower. She was out like a light.

Minna was woken up by Laila, bright and early.
Minna curled up and covered her head.
"No, up. You slept through your free period already. Don't leave your tutor waiting for an hour."
Minna groaned. She complied, though, and changed her clothes. She pulled her hair into a high ponytail and and hurried out of the dorm. The library wasn't far away and when she arrived, her tutor was typing away at his laptop.
"Sorry I'm late," Minna said quickly.
He jumped. "I wasn't even expecting you to show up. You don't really need any help, do you."
"No, not really," Minna agreed.
The two sat there in silence, and Minna scribbled on her English Lit. book.
The day passed like that—classes and no interaction with her teammates all day. And then came evening practice.
Everyone was tense and kind of quiet until Minna called the attention to her.
"I want to apologize," she said loudly.
Silence.
"I should have let you all know about my past. I should not have dumped the news on you Friday night and I should not have lied about what Riko did." Her fingers ghosted over faded bruises on her hip. "I should have told you everything when I panicked our first day, when Jeremy and Coach recruited me... when I was still there. Kevin and I have always had the means to tell everyone but we never did and now it's my fault you're involved in this mess. I'm sorry."
Eliza stood up. Holding out her arms, she beckoned the younger girl over. Minna took a few tentative steps, but then she froze and Eliza crossed the rest of the way. Gentle arms enveloped her and then the other twenty-six people joined in. A huge group hug with Minna at the center confirmed her belief that the Trojans were a million times better than the Ravens could ever hope to be.
When the team let go, everyone looked determined—they were going to meet the ravens at semifinals or finals and they would fight till their last breath.
No more needed to be said and the Trojans got to work.
