Scarlet sat across from her oldest brother, as they searched for a new hunt. They had went a couple of weeks without hunting, and they felt cooped up inside of their hotel room. They had been looking for their father this entire time, and while they were searching for him, they went on a few hunts and helped as many people as they could.

"What about this?" Sam asked, showing Dean and Scarlet a story in the news paper.

"Really? Dying crops and a couple missing persons reports? That's cause enough to believe we've got a case?" Dean asked, and Sam shrugged.

"It could be connected," Sam replied,"I mean, the missing persons reports were all made by the same person."

"Fine," Dean groaned,"We'll go check this out, but if I drive one hundred miles west for no reason, I will kill you." He retorted, and Sam rolled his eyes.

"Let's go." Scarlet said, deciding to break up the small brotherly squabble.

Scarlet sat in the back of the Impala like normal, as Dean drove them towards California. Sam was quiet almost the entire ride, and Dean sang along to the music that played through his radio. Scarlet sang along as well, just maybe not as loud as Dean had been.

"While we're in Cali, I want to buy a couple new outfits." Scarlet commented, causing Dean to raise an eyebrow in question.

"You want to shop for clothes in one of the most expensive states in the US?" Dean questioned, making her sigh.

"I know, but I want new clothes. I definitely need pants, and a couple shirts won't hurt. Not to mention, I only have the one bra, and--" Before she could continue, Dean cut her off.

"Hey, ew!" He whined,"I don't want to hear that."

"Why? You know what a bra is. You've had plenty of bed buddies, and I hope all of them wore bras, unless they didn't have to..." She jokingly trailed off, making Dean glare at her,"but whatever, I need new bras, and I need panties--"

"Stop!" Dean exclaimed, gagging with overexaggeration.

"You could probably do with some new boots." Sam commented, making Dean huff.

The siblings made it all the way to California, before Dean found a hotel for them to stay for the time they were in California. Dean had gotten the biggest room avaliable, as normal, before the siblings brought their things into the hotel room. Some nights Scarlet would bunk with Sam, other nights she would bunk with Dean. Sam was a really tall person, so it wasn't easy for Scarlet to have room on the bed without Sam accidentally hitting or kicking her while sleeping.

"Sam and I will go interview the person that reported the people as missing," Dean commented,"You go shop for your...girl things." He made a gesture with his hands with a disgusted look on his face.

"Let me know if you find anything of importance." Scarlet replied, and Dean nodded.

Scarlet went straight to the store, which she had to walk to since Dean and Sam had the car. She took about an hour shopping. She had gotten herself a couple pairs of pants, a couple shirts, a pair of shorts, a couple pairs of pajamas, a couple bras, socks, and panties. She also got herself a new pair of boots. Like Dean, all she wore was boots, since it was the safest thing to wear when going on hunts. She never had to worry about the way she ran in boots.

Once she had gotten everything she needed, she headed back to the hotel. She got there about the same time as her brothers, so Dean grabbed the door for her, since her hands were full. She dropped her bags on Dean's bed, before she grabbed her duffle bag to put her new things into it. She cut the tags off of everything, before folding it and putting it away in her duffle bag.

She looked at her old jeans, and only kept the ones that didn't look like a tattered mess. She threw away the ones that looked terrible, and she tossed her old boots as well. She planned to burn her old panties in the middle of nowhere, so no creepy guy could get ahold of them. She had an irrational fear of that happening, because some guy told her that it could happen when she was in middle school, and she still couldn't get the fear out of her mind.

"So, did you find out anything?" Scarlet asked, as Sam grabbed the things he needed for a shower.

"Well, the lady who reported the people missing is a middle aged woman with three black cats and creepy eyes." Dean commented, making Sam roll his eyes.

"She swore she heard a fight happen before the first person went missing. Then she said the second person went missing after a party. The third person was definitely seen running along one of the jogging routes near the park," Sam explained,"She also claims that the dying crops has to do with some hippie who put out weed killers because he was mad at the farmers."

"Really? A hippie?" She questioned, and Sam simply shrugged.

"I think the lady is crazy," Dean commented,"but I do think there's a case here. I think we're dealing with a witch."

"A witch?" She echoed,"Only the dying crops point to witch though. It could be a pagan God or something." She replied, but Dean shook his head.

"No, I don't think so, but we can look into that, too." Dean said, and she simply nodded.

"Want me to go pick up dinner?" She asked, causing Dean to toss her the keys to the Impala.

Though Dean didn't like sharing Baby, he was definitely known for letting Scarlet drive the car more. She was secretly his favorite, and she could get anything from him if she wanted it. He always looked out for her though, considering she was the baby of the family...
