(This story is kind of a Supernatural crossover with the Mötley Crüe movie, "The Dirt.")
Scarlet Rose Winchester is the youngest Winchester. Though she wasn't Dean's twin, it was almost as if she was when it came to her interests and tastes in food...
Vince had given Scarlet time to redecorate the room she had stayed in for so long. She had made it completely different from how it looked before. She wanted to try and take away some of the things that made her think of the past. Truth be told, though the room was different, she had kept everything that reminded her of the past. It was all stored away in storage containers; almost everything that reminded her of Skylar, her brothers, and her life before.

"I like your new decor." Vince commented, as he entered the bedroom.
"Skylar always wanted me to get a princess style bed," She took a deep breath,"So, I thought I'd do it — just for her."
"It suits you." He replied, giving her a forced smile.
"I put all of my memories in storage containers in the attic," Scarlet said,"but I just couldn't put itaway." She added, as she motioned to the toy monkey that laid on her dresser.
"I get it," He nodded,"I can't even touch her room. I should, but I can't — not yet." He murmured, and she sighed.
"We'll handle this one day at a time," She replied,"but for now, you need time to grieve."
"Uh, i-is this your clean slate from the past?" Vince asked, trying to change the subject to keep himself from crying for a bit.
"I guess you could say that," She shrugged,"It's definitely different from what I've ever had before. I don't quite think it's a clean slate just yet, but I think it'll get there." She answered, and he nodded.
"I think you need some books." He commented, pointing to her almost empty book shelf.
"Well, I think you're right," She nodded,"We, uh, we should go out to the book store in a few days and fill it up." She said, and he nodded.
"I gotta ‐-" He looked over at the monkey,"I need to leave. I just — I'm not doing well."
"Go take a nap or grab a beer and have a cry," She commented,"I'll be here when you need me."
"Thanks." He murmured, before he left the room with a quickness.
Vince never had it easy, not since Razzle had died. Things for Vince just seemed to get worse ever so slightly every time he thought things were getting a little better. He was going to make a solo album, and that was about all he was able to do. He mostly laid in bed and cried himself to sleep, or drank himself into oblivion.
Scarlet was there to get him to shower, get him to eat, get him to drink at least a little water. She was there when he passed out on the couch, and she would help him to his room. She was there when he cried himself to sleep, and couldn't be bothered to cover himself up to keep from being cold. She was there for everything, and she pretended like she was fine, even though Vince knew she wasn't.
He wanted to be there for her, he did, but he just wasn't really able to. He had lost his little girl, and he knew that Scarlet was feeling the pain, too, but he felt like his pain was just a little worse — not that it was a contest or anything. She was feeling so much pain, he knew it, but he just couldn't handle his to help her. She understood though, and that's what Vince really admired about her.
Scarlet was the sister that Vince needed so badly. Even through her own pain, she was there to help try and pick up Vince when he was close to the edge. She was there to pull him back, but that's all she could do. Neither knew exactly how to handle pain and grief, so it was just like a repeating motion, and it never seemed to really stop.
Though Vince was forever going to be angry at Nikki, at least, that's what he believed, he secretly wished Nikki was there. If Nikki was there, and he was clean, he'd be able to help Scarlet pick up her broken pieces. He'd be able to hold her when she cried, and he wouldn't cry with her, he'd be able to actually console her and make her feel better.
Since Scarlet had moved in with Vince, she had packed what she needed most from her house, then she sold it. She wanted the memories of her past to be completely gone, and she didn't want it to be weighing on her. If she kept the house, it would only weigh on her until she went back, and she didn't need to do that. She needed to be far away from it, and the only solution had been selling the house she had lived in for years.
She wasn't sure if living with Vince was a permanent solution. She wasn't sure how much longer she'd be here. She hoped that one day she'd find her way back to her brothers, but she knew it wasn't going to happen. She had to eventually accept it, even if she didn't want to. She just wasn't sure if she would be able to live once she finally accepted that she was stuck here.
She wondered if Tommy missed her, if Nikki missed her, if Mick missed her. They had gone on tour over the time that Vince had been out of the band, but she never went to a practice. By that time, she was all ready upset with Nikki's newest obsession. She hoped that maybe the music would make Nikki realize he needed to get better. Even if they didn't miss her, even if they didn't care that she wasn't there, she did truly wish them well. She knew that one day, when all was said and done, she wanted to look back and not be disappointed with how she felt about the band. She just knee that there was a chance she'd never be a part of that life again; a part of Nikki's life again. If only she knew what Nikki was really doing while she was busy crying and wishing her pain would go away...
