A bit of time had passed, but it was a little less than a month. Scarlet had been searching for weeks, trying to find a witch, but she had no such luck. It wasn't as easy as it was when she was back in her own time, since she didn't have a way to Google someone like she could before. Phone books definitely weren't her favorite thing, since they didn't tell if someone was human, witch, werewolf, etc.

After living with Tommy and his parents for a week, she found herself a job, and decided to find her own apartment. The apartment had two bedrooms, so Tommy ended up moving in with her. He also told her about Nikki, and she acted like she was surprised he had found him, since she had known how it would all turn out.

She hadn't gotten to meet Nikki yet, but he and Tommy planned to hold an audition for a guitarist, and eventually a lead singer as well. Tommy was amped for the future, and Scarlet had to hold herself back from telling him what was going to happen.

Nikki had decided to hold auditions at his apartment, since he didn't want to bother Scarlet. He didn't know her, but he knew from Tommy that the girl was working hard to make money. She worked at the front desk of a small record company, and when she had the chance, she worked part-time at a gas station.

Scarlet wouldn't have gotten a job, but she couldn't exactly do credit card fraud anymore. She needed legit money, and this was the only way of doing it. Besides, she figured a job, or two, would keep her mind off of what was going on. She just wanted to be distracted for a bit.

She liked how much cheaper food, gas, and even concert tickets were than before. She was able to save a lot of money, but that didn't stop her from working a lot. Truth be told, she was often giving money to Tommy so he had enough to buy things he needed.

Scarlet decided to start saving money for a car. She needed something, even if it was small and used. She just needed something that would get her from point A to point B, without her having to walk or push it because it's a piece of crap. She had a feeling that Tommy was often going to use her car, since he walked everywhere he needed to go. It wasn't his fault, but it could get annoying.

Scarlet still missed her brothers, more than she ever thought she would. In her bag that happened to go with her to the past, she had three pictures. One was of her, Dean, and Sam when they were real little. The second was of her and Dean, back when Sam had left for college. The final picture was of her family; her mother and father were happy in the picture, and everything was good. She had wished she had a picture of her and Sam, like she did her and Dean, but Sam wasn't around as often as Dean had been.

Scarlet had put the pictures in frames, and put them up in her bedroom. She couldn't have them displayed in the living room or anywhere else, since she still hadn't told Tommy about what really happened to her. Truth be told, she was scared about what he'd do or say once he learned the truth. She was scared that he wouldn't believe her, and that he'd hate her and call her crazy.

If Tommy, or anyone else for that matter, knew about Scarlet's real truth, she'd be put in a psych ward. She'd be ostracized and hated for who she was, and even though Dean had practically raised her to not care what others thought, she knew it'd be easier to stay out of everyone's mind all together.

Anyhow, Scarlet didn't know how long she'd have to work, but eventually she'd have to get home. She knew there'd be no way in hell that she could be stuck there forever. Hell, she could save enough money to travel to Lebanon and find her parents. She could try to explain to them what happened, and she could hope that they'd help her find a witch to go home.

She had a feeling they wouldn't believe her though. She was under the impression that at this point in time, her mother didn't know as much as she did. She knew her father didn't know about any of this, not yet, so he definitely wouldn't believe her. She had hope that her mother would believe her, maybe even recognize her, since she looked somewhat like Dean, but that wouldn't be enough. She and Sam hadn't been born yet, her mother wasn't even pregnant, so there'd be no way for her to prove that she wasn't lying.

That was one thing that Scarlet hated about her real line of work, most people wouldn't believe her, and anyone would call her crazy. She hadn't bothered finding any cases while she was stuck in the past, even though she had no idea how long she was going to be stuck there. To be honest, she was still in shock and denial that she had even been there as long as she had already.

She didn't want to get stuck in a case, and she didn't have the right tools. She'd have to save up money to find or make things she needed to be as good of a hunter as she was before. She had a couple of her weapons that had been stored in her bag, but really it wasn't much at all. She was alone and she had almost nothing to protect herself. She just hoped like hell that a monster wouldn't put her in a sticky situation that she couldn't handle easily. She had to figure out a way to protect herself, until she could find a way back home...
