Chapter Thirty One - End of Tour

Tour was finally ending, and truth be told, Scarlet was glad for that. She was seven months pregnant at this point of the tour, and she was tired of being on the road. She also had a feeling that the guys were tired of the hormonal woman being with them all the time. Even if they were though, the guys seemed to wait on her for everything, making sure she wasn't straining herself.

"Dress nice tonight." Vince commented, causing the girl to scowl at him.

"I always dress nice, asshole," She retorted,"Unless you're telling me I haven't. Are you saying I'm ugly?"

"No!" He quickly exclaimed,"I'm just saying to look nice."

"Vince--" She began, before the door bursted open.

"I got fries!" Tommy exclaimed, and quickly Scarlet's mood changed.

"Thank you, Tommy." She said, as he handed her the bag of fries.

Vince rolled his eyes with a chuckle, as he left the room and headed towards his dressing room to get ready for their last show. He wanted to look his best, as did everyone else. It was the last show, and he wanted it to go out with a bang, something he wanted for the end of every tour.

"Hey! Those are mine!" Scarlet yelled, as Nikki grabbed a handful of her fries.

"I get a cut, because that's my baby, too." He replied, making her scoff and roll her eyes.

"I don't think that's how this works." She retorted, and he simply smirked at her.

Once Scarlet finished eating, she washed her hands, then grabbed the clothes that she was going to wear for the night. Vince had told her to dress nice, so she started second guessing the outfit she picked at first, but she wore it anyway. It was a pair of black leggings, a Mötley Crüe shirt that use to be baggy, but now fit snuggly to her big belly, as well as a pair of black boots that had silver chains. She curled her hair a bit, hoping to look a bit hot, even though she felt like a whale.

When the time for the show came, Scarlet watched by the curtain like she always had since finding out she was pregnant. Doc brought her a chair, since he didn't want the pregnant woman standing on her feet for too long. She was too far pregnant to just stay standing on her feet the entire time.

Scarlet had asked Vince to play her all-time favorite song, Same Ol' Situation, and of course he did. She was practically his sister afterall, and he loved her with all his heart. If all she wanted was him to play her favorite song at their last show, that's what he was going to do. They also played Home Sweet Home close to the end of their show, since Nikki knew it was Scarlet's second all-time favorite.

Scarlet enjoyed the show, including when Tommy rose above the crowd playing the drums. When the songs ended, Scarlet was a little sad. She would definitely miss touring with the band. Considering she was soon going to have a baby, she doubted she'd ever get to go on tour with them again.

"Before we go tonight, my buddy Nikki has something he wants to say to his beautiful girlfriend, and my lovely sister," Vince told the crowd,"Scarlet, get your ass out here!" He called, and Scarlet's heartbeat sped up.

Doc helped her out of her seat, before she carefully walked out on the stage. The crowd cheered, but they got even louder when they seen her giant belly. Nikki moved his bass to be behind him, as he pulled her to his side, and placed a kiss on her lips. His hand laid on her large belly, and the crowd "aww"ed in unison.

"Scarlet, you've been by my side since before the band even started," Nikki began,"After everything we've been through, and every time I did something stupid, you always forgave me and stayed with me. I'm so happy that you're my girlfriend, and one day soon you'll be having our sweet baby," Nikki got down on one knee, and Vince handed him a little box,"Scarlet, will you marry me?" He asked, as he opened the box and showed her a beautiful diamond ring.

"Yes! Yes, I will marry you!" She cried, and Nikki slid the ring on her finger, before standing up and pulling her into a hug.

The crowd cheered louder, as Tommy, Vince, and Mick began chanting "Nikki!" Nobody had thought that Nikki would have the nerve to propose to a girl in front of thousands of people, and they definitely didn't see him settling on any girl any time soon. Him having a baby with her was an even bigger shock to the world.

Ever since she had become pregnant, Scarlet and the others tried to hide it from the world. There was a select few that knew, but it stayed away from the media. This appearance of her on stage was their announcement to the world that she and Nikki were having a baby together. Scarlet didn't know that Nikki was going to be proposing to her, but she was more than happy when he did.

Scarlet wasn't one of those girls that believed she was ever going to have a happy ending. She didn't think she'd have a baby, have a fiancé, or really have a boyfriend at all. She thought her life was going to be hunting with her brothers until she inevitably died by the hands of a monster. It seemed though, that one of the many monsters she would hunt happened to give her the happy ending she never thought she was going to have.

As Scarlet and Nikki walked off the stage hand-in-hand, the crowd continued to cheer for them. The whole world seemed to be happy, and that was something that made Scarlet feel special. Never once did she believe that she would get something like this, yet here she was, and she was happy...
