(The timeline is set when Mr. Forkle took everyone to show who the leak is)
Keefe was in the living room of Shore of Solace. He was supposed to be with Forklenator and the others, finding out about the leak But right after light leaping he suddenly felt so nauseous that he came back home. Keefe suspected the reason of the nausea to be refusing to eat any food from home since 2 days ago. He had been eating lunch from school, thank god he was, but he wasn't eating anything from Shores of Solace.
The reason why was because he and Daddy Dearest has been arguing everyday for a month straight. This wouldn't normally be a problem but somehow their relationship had gotten worse. (If that was possible) Worse to the point where Keefe couldn't bear to eat food from his house again. If only he had somewhere else to go he would, but he didn't want anyone to worry about his family issues. He didn't want pity.
However, he felt better now that he had some snacks from the kitchen. He was about to hail Sophie to check if she's ok. It hurt Keefe to see Sophie all tired, and he couldn't forgive himself of letting her go alone. For letting her handle so many things by herself, again. He knew that she was just a girl, a girl who doesn't deserve this much burden. And Keefe knew that she was slowly cracking under the pressure.
His train of thoughts ended when he entered his room. He nearly screamed.
Sitting on his bed was a woman with blonde hair and ice blue eyes.
The woman smiled as she saw how frightened he was, and it terrified Keefe to the point where his knees nearly buckled. "You seriously need to tidy up your room, if you want to impress the Moonlark. Or are you already dating her?"
Anger boiled inside Keefe at the mention of his girlfriend's name, Lady Gisela didn't deserve to put Sophie's name on her mouth.
"What do you want?" He hissed, glaring at Lady Gisela, his mother, his enemy. The psychopath that deserved to rot in exile, the one that ruined his life.
"Going straight to the point, are we?" She said with a sigh.
"What. Do. You. Want?" He said anger rising with each words.
"Alright, no need for dramatics." She said with a frown. "I came here to tell you something Keefe, I came here to tell you about the third step to Stellarlune. "
His heart dropped to his stomach. Stellarlune was an experiment his mo-Lady Gisela had done to him. He had recently experienced the second step, which involved injecting shadowflux inside him with some weird sort of light. And of course he nearly died during the process.
Lady Gisela didn't seem to notice that he was having a melt-down because she continued speaking emotionlessly, "As for the third step of Sterllarlune, I am offering you to have a place at the Neverseen so that you can train your new abilities. "
His face scowled in disgust, "There's no way I'm going back there."
"Trust me when I say that you need proper training with proper mentors, Keefe. Or it will take control of you."
"What would take control of me?"
"You'll find out if you come with me."
"You way more dumb than I thought if you assumed that I would just follow you."
