Hello, hello
Writing this was actually kind of emotional....
You'll see why......
Sophie's grip on Keefe's hand tightened as the rolling hills of Elysian shimmered into focus.
Sophie took a deep breathe as memories came crashing to her.
She remembered charging towards Lady Gisela, screaming "ENOUGH" as the world faded into red.
She remembered Elysian finally introducing herself in front of everyone wearing her grey cloak.
She remembered-
"You're cute when you worry." Keefe said, breaking her train of thoughts.
Sophie rolled her eyes at him.
This was not the right time to flirt with her boyfriend, even though he might be handsome, yes, very handsome...
Shut up. Sophie told herself.
They were here to find more clues about Elysian, or Stellarlune, or basically anything else that might help them defeat the Neverseen. Sophie had barely managed to convince her parents to let her go adventuring Elysian Island this time, and Sophie was sure all her friends had troubles with that too.
Except for Keefe, whose father was... well avoiding him.
Sophie wanted to slap Cassius the next time she saw him. She was pretty sure Ro would be very proud-
Sophie suddenly felt nauseous.
Where was Ro?
She poked at the blue mark Linquillosa had left on her skin. Linquillosa was an ogre bacteria that Ro made her sprinkle on her fresh as a message to indicate that she found Keefe, Ro's charge. She told Sophie that the moment she received the message she would head straight to the Forbidden Cities, ready to punish Keefe for escaping. And yet, she was still not here, even though Keefe was standing right next to her.
What if something went wrong?
What if Ro-
"I don't know what's making your forehead all crinkly, but I promise we will be fine." Keefe assured her, running his fingers through her forehead, smoothing the crinkles.
"As much as I love watching you two flirt," Biana said from behind them with a goofy smile, "We should hurry up, Forkle only gave us two hours to search."
"You're right." Sophie said tearing her eyes from Keefe's ice blue ones.
"So... do you have a plan, or are we just going to start searching for whatever might be important?" Marella asked, playing with her flames that she had sparked on her palm.
Sophie bit her lips-she had not thought of a plan. She was too busy convincing her parents to let her go.
Keefe saved her from her possible embarrassment, "We should probably slit up in group and search for anything Elysian might have left behind. Although I would love watching Fitz get all angry about not being to find anything," he pointed at Fitz and smirked, " I call Team Foster-Keefe!"
Fitz grumbled something under his breathe.
"Well, then it's easier to split up in the same group as last time." Dex said, grabbing Biana's hand.
Tam rolled his eyes, "Let's get going."
Everyone stumbled off to different directions.
"Let's do check-ins every thirty minutes, and after a hour I think we should meet up here again and share what we learned." Sophie called out to everyone before they disapeared.
