Hellooo
I have nothing to say.
So just enjoy the chapter :)
"I'm so sorry!" Sophie told the brunette in front of her.
Sophie was on her way Magnate Leto's office when she bumped into a random girl.
"It's okay," The girl said, her blue eyes that almost looked green searched Sophie's face. The girl was the prettiest elf Sophie has ever met. Yes, all elves are pretty or handsome, but she just stood out. Everything about her face was perfect, to her blue-green eyes, small nose, pink lips, her flawless brown hair, and her freckles. She looked like a living fairytale princess.
"You're Sophie Foster, right?" The brunette asked.
"Yeah, that's me." Great, everyone at school knows me.
"Hi, my names Neev, you're part of the Black Swan, I heard?" Neev asked, her tone was friendly but something about her was suspicious. She kept searching Sophie as if she was trying to solve a puzzle.
"Um, yeah, they created me." Sophie answered nervously, not knowing why the girl cared.
Neev smiled sympathetically as if she knew what Sophie has been through. "It must be hard."
"Oh," Was she just curious? "I mean they gave me brown eyes..."
"Hey, that's cool," Neev said, and Sophie could tell that she meant it. "Plus, like half of all the boys in Foxfire has a crush on you."
Was she messing around with Sophie?
"But don't date them, they're stupid. " She informed Sophie with a serious face.
"I wasn't planning on it."
"Good. Alright, I need to go" Neev said. "It was night meeting you, Sophie. We should hang out sometime."
"Yeah, sure. Um, bye." Sophie awkwardly said and turned around ready to leave.
"Oh, and Sophie?" Neev asked, Sophie turned around. "A lot of people actually love you for your braveness and kindness, me included. I hope you know that."
Despite the words coming from an absolute stranger, Sophie felt a lump on her throat. Someone actually acknowledged the fact that Sophie has sacrificed her life for the Elvin society's safety. "Thanks." She was proud that her voice did not crack.
The girl nodded and left, leaving Sophie alone in the halls.
Sandor frowned. "What was that all about?"
"I don't know." Sophie said, she pulled out a loose eyelash. "Come on, we need visit Magnate Leto."
Sophie knocked on Magnate Leto's office.
No answer.
"Do you think he's not here?" Sophie asked Sandor.
Sandor shrugged.
"Come in." Said a voice from inside.
Sophie nervously opened the door. And walked towards the desk and sat across from Magnate Leto, Mr. Forkle in disguise. She greeted her teeth. Mr. Forkle assumed that she had betrayed the Black Swan, after a slight misunderstanding. She knew that he was confused and that she was being unfair, but it still triggered her. After all she had sacrificed to prove herself to the Black Swan, Sophie couldn't believe he didn't trust her. He created her, he was technically supposed to be a father figure to Sophie. How could he just abandon his own creation?
