Chapter 3: Kumotta vs Kakashi

Kakashi and Kumotta stand there staring each other down, with the latter having his Sharigan active.

Kumotta: Well Kakashi sensei are you ready?

Kakashi: <thinking> This kid has a lot of confidence. I wonder why. <To Kumotta> Lets see what you amount to being top of the class.

All of a sudden three Kumotta's jump from out of the ground and grab onto Kakashi. This caught the jonin off guard he then focuses his attention back to the Kumotta who was standing across from him, only for Kumotta to melt in front him and appear directly behind him.

Kakashi: <thinking> Genjutsu! But when did he have time? As soon as he activated his sharigan? This kid is actually no joke. If I don't start taking this serious I will lose.

He then suddenly disappeared and threw three kunai at the clones dispersing them all. Kakashi then lifted up his headband revealing a Sharigan of his own. Much to Kumotta's surprise but the young boy kept his composure and hid his shocked expression.

Kumotta: I see you have a sharigan of your own. But you are not an Uchiha are you?

Kakashi simply ignored the boy as he charged at the boy. The two then engaged in a taijutsu battle with the older male having a clear advantage. Though Kumotta was no pushover, he has his sharigan to thank for that.

All of a sudden Kakashi received a kick to the head, dazing the older male, followed up by a kick to the chin sending the jonin flying upward only for two Kumotta's to kick him to the ground.

The Kumotta who was in front of him then suddenly disappeared into ashes crumbling away.

Kakashi: <thinking> I thought I broke through his genjutsu?! How is this kid this strong?

Kumotta: Well sensei how about I start taking this serious?

Kakashi: <to Kumotta> You were holding back?!

Kumotta: Do you want to know why my sharigan is different to others? It's quite simple actually. I can read your thoughts.

Kakashi: <Shocked> What?!

Kumotta: Well when I meet someone I have to ability to place them under a genjutsu that hides my sharigan, though it doesn't last long. I then use my sharigan and place a small amount of my own chakra in there mind. With my chakra in there I can physically hear the others thoughts as long as they are within a certain range from me.

Kakashi: I see, so when we first met you placed chakra in my mind?

Kumotta: <smiles> precisely.

Kakashi: Why would you tell me of your abilities? It's a shinobi's job to keep there abilities hidden.

Kumotta: Well because I already passed your test.

Kakashi then heard the sound of three bells behind him, he turned around to see Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke holding all three bells in their hand. He then saw Kumotta standing directly beside them. He turned and looked where the original Kumotta was only for him to burn away into ash.

Kakashi: <shocked> How? And When did yo-

Kumotta: <cutting him off> When you saw the three clones of me jump out and grab you. That was Naruto, Sakura, amd Sasuke disguised as me. I then put you under a genjutsu to make it seem like the bells stayed on your hip, when in reality Sakura grabbed the bells and I swapped places with her.

Kakashi: But the clones?

Kumotta: Were Naruto's shadow clones. I had to act fast to get Sasuke out of there and then all they had to do was hid back where I originally told them to.

Kakashi: But I knocked them out? How were they able to recover so quickly?

Kumotta: <annoyed> This is really getting annoying to explain. My shadow clone left to find Sakura since I could sense my chakra left in your mind nearby. I then filled Naruto and Sasuke in, and made you knock out my clones.

Kakashi was still shocked at the matter and still had many questions but figured they could hold off. This Kumotta kid is something he thought to himself.

Kakashi: Congratulations you all pass. Team 7 officially starts there first mission tomorrow.

Naruto and Sakura were bursting with excitement while Kumotta smiled at the two and Sasuke just smirked.

As the five started to walk home Sakura kept trying to ask Kumotta out on a date.

Kumotta: Why not Sasuke? You like him too.

Sasuke silently glared at him when Sakura finally spoke up.

Sakura: <blushing> Well actually it's just you I like.

Hoping revealing this would work. It didn't.

Kumotta: <sweatdrops> I see... I just remembered that I have to help Sasuke with his training.

Sasuke seeing an opportunity to get back at Kumotta for trying to dump Sakura onto him.

Sasuke: Actually I don't need help today. Since we had this intense training today.

Kakashi: He has a point, overworking your body can be terrible.

Kumotta: <giving the two an evil glare while thinking> You assholes.

Sakura: <grabs onto Kumotta's arm> So you are free! I know just the place!

She then starts dragging Kumotta off to a random place while Kumotta looks at both Sasuke and Kakashi and mouths off "You're Dead".

The other three simply go home while Sakura takes an unhappy Kumotta on a so called "date".

A/n Next chapter will be the start of the land of waves. Hope everyone has a great day! Sorry for this chapter being shorter than the others. I'm new to making stories so I hope this one turns out to actually be good.
