(Third person pov)
As the five ninja jumped through the forest in pursuit of Sasuke, Neji activates his Byakugan to see if he can spot any sort of trap laid out for them.
Neji: That's strange, it's been quite some time and they still haven't laid out even a single trap for us. What's your assessment Shikamaru?
Shikamaru: Well if I were to guess, they are getting cocky and underestimating us. They book all their faith on that big guy.
Neji: Still, to not set a trap even for their teammate, it seems you are right about that Shikamaru. It's honestly quite insulting.
Naruto: Those bastards! They keep underestimating us!!
Kumotta: Calm down Naruto, we can use that to our advantage. Now did anyone catch the name of that fat fuck?
Kiba: Uhh it was like Jiren or something like that

Neji: it was Jirobo!
Shikamaru: What are you thinking Kumotta?
Kumotta: I'm thinking that you disguise yourself as that big guy and get close to them. Then try and get your hands on that container that's holding Sasuke.
Shikamaru: kinda what I was thinking, what happens if my cover is blown?
Kumotta: Don't worry, we will be close by to make sure nothing happens
With the plan in place the five of them catch up to the other sound ninja with the plan going into play. That was until the red haired woman realized it was a trap and went to attack Shikamaru. Kumotta jumped in the nick of time to save Shikamaru.
Shikamaru: that was a close one!
Kumotta: yeah no kidding!
???: Sakon, Tayuya, hurry up and go! Leaves these two bugs to me
The grey haired boy and redhead girl take off while the darker skinned male stared Kumotta and Shikamaru down.
He then started spewing webs in his mouth which grossed out Kumotta.
Kumotta: (thinking) I miss Shino...
He then launched webs towards Shikamaru and Kumotta with the ladder barely dodging as Shikamaru gets nailed to a tree.
Then suddenly Naruto comes out of no where with six clones of himself...but he only managed to get himself caught. Then out of nowhere, Kiba and Akamaru tried to hit him with a fang over fang only to miss and get caught on a web stuck to a tree.
Neji then tries to attack him from behind until he gets trapped and caught in a cocoon.
Kumotta: This is bad... what to do.
Then all of a sudden he rushed at Kumotta and tried attacking, only for Kumotta to fall backwards and catch himself before springing himself upwards landing a vicious kick to the back. He then followed it up with Naruto grabbing his ankles and slamming him down onto the tree.
Kumotta was surprised until he saw all of the Naruto's on the web dispersed. He then saw Neji along with Kiba, Akamaru, and Shikamaru standing on a tree.
Neji: Leave him to me! You four get out of here!
All but Kumotta take off in the direction they saw the sound shinobi go.
Kumotta: Neji...
Neji: Go Kumotta! Sasuke is our comrade! You need to help him!
Kumotta: ...don't die...please.
