Chapter 12: The Chunin Exams part 4: Preliminary Matches

The fight between Sasuke and Yoroi began and from the start of it Sasuke was kind of getting his ass kicked.

Kumotta: What the hell? Why isn't Sasuke using his Sharigan? He could've easily won this match by now.

Sakura looked at Kumotta, wanting to tell him just what happened to Sasuke but decided to wait until Sasuke told him.

Sasuke then kicked Yoroi up in the air and delivered a barrage, if I may, of attacks. With Yoroi landing on his neck and Sasuke delivering a critical blow to his abdomen.

Sasuke: LIONS BARRAGE!!!

Yoroi layed defeated and Sasuke was annouced the winner.

Kumotta: <thinking> I see what he did, he wanted to either test his strength without relying on the Sharigan; which would make him a better fighter. Or he simply didn't have any chakra saved up.

After the match Kumotta went to congratulate Sasuke only for Kakashi to take him away from the group which was strange to Kumotta.

Kumotta: Just what is going on?

The next fight was an interesting one, Shino vs Fuu.

Kumotta: This one will be interesting, I actually get to see her in action.

Sakura heard this and hung her head in disappointment, she wished Kumotta would look at her like that.

The fight began with Fuu wishing Shino good luck and asking him if they could be friends, which caught bug boy off guard a little bit.

Kumotta: She has a very cheerful attitude, kind of like someone I know.

He looked at Naruto when he said this.

The fight, if you want to call it that, ensued with Shino trying to get his bugs to eat at her chakra, and Fuu simply jumping around having fun.

Shino: If you're not gonna take this serious then I will just have to end this quickly.

Fuu: You know, you're kind of mean.

She then sprouted wings from her body and flew towards shino at super fast speeds which shocked everyone present.

A lot of the jonin had looks of concern on their faces, but lord third seemed to be okay.

Kumotta: Whoa, what the hell that so cool!

You could see the sparkles in Kumotta's eyes when he said that and Naruto and Sakura sweatdrop.

The fight ends with shino taking a full force punch to the gut, sending him flying into the nearby wall, rendering him unconscious. Fuu was declared the winner.

Kumotta: Hell yeah! What a fight!

Fuu heard Kumotta and blushed at the remark.

Fuu: <thinking> Kumotta loved my fight! Yes!!!

(Kumotta pov)

The next couple matches came around but weren't very interesting. Kankuro faced a sound ninja and kicked his ass, Temari faced Tenten and absolutely destroyed her. Hell even Naruto's fight wasn't very interesting, all he did was fart in Kiba's face and the beat him down. Oh and I almost forgot that Sakura and Ino fought, though I wish I did. All they did was talk about who likes me more and who deserves to be with me more. I started getting looks at by the other genin. I was totally embarrassed. What was even dumber about the fight was it ended in a damn draw!

Then it was time for Hinata and Neji, I could feel my entire body tensing up at this. My blood was boiling but I contained my rage. I saw hinata look up at me and I wish her good luck. Though when Neji looked at me I simply flipped him off.
