Squad 7, Kumotta, and Tazuna were all in a boat, going to the land of waves. They could barely see even 5 feet in front of them due to how thick the fog was.
Sakura: The fog is so thick, you can't see a thing. How can you even tell where we are going?
Kumotta: She's right ya know, even with my Sharigan, the furthest I can see out is 10 feet maybe.
The boat owner, Kaji, turned and looked at everyone.
Kaji: The bridge isn't far now. Our destination is just ahead, The Land of Waves.
A half built bridge then came into view through the fog, it was actually quite massive.
Naruto: <very loud> Whoa! Its huge!
Kaji: <to Naruto> Quiet! I told you, no noise! Why do you think we're traveling like this? Cutting the engine off and rowing, moving us through the dense fog so they don't see us.
A little bit of time passes and for the most part it was in silence. Kumotta seemed to be back in spirits after having his chat with Sakura. Sasuke even took note of this and looked at the boy.
Sasuke: <quietly to Kumotta> Are you okay?
Kumotta: Of course I am, why wouldn't I be.
Sasuke: I saw that look you had on your face when you killed that ninja.
Kumotta looked down at his hands.
Kumotta: Yeah, it's true, I did start thinking about Sagi-shi again but I am all better now. Last night I couldn't sleep so I went towards the river and sat to think. Sakura approached me, nit being able to sleep herself, she asked me about how I was feeling.
Sasuke seemed a little ticked off that Sakura would do such a thing. To some people they would see Sasuke and Kumotta as best friends, but in reality the two were brothers. Maybe not true but definitely brothers. Whenever Kumotta was in pain it hurt Sasuke and vice versa.
Kumotta: So I told her about Sagi-shi.
Sasuke: <shocked> What?! Why would you do that?
Kumotta: Well, I think I just needed to vent and she was offering to listen snd not judge. Plus, she's our teammate and she should know about us if she is to trust her life in us.
Sasuke calmed down at this. He still found Sakura annoying, but was glad that she was there for his brother.
Sasuke: Alright, as long as you are okay.
Kumotta: <smirks> getting soft on me Sasuke?
Sasuke: <smirks> you wish.
Kaji: We're approaching the shore. <to Tazuna> Tazuna, we have been very fortunate so far. No one has taken notice of us.
Tazuna: Nice going.
Soon they entered a tunnel and all the fog was gone, revealing a circle of houses surrounding the water.
When they reached the boardwalk everyone got out except for Kaji.
Kaji: This is as far as I go, good luck.
Tazuna: Thank you for taking such a risk.
Kaji: Just be careful.
He quickly rowed the boat away.
Tazuna then turned to the group.
Tazuna: Okay take me home. And I do mean all in one piece.
Kakashi: Right.
