Abhi POV:
"Maan," she shouted. I asked her calmly, "What's wrong, Angel?" She pouted, showing me the ice cream box empty. I sighed, saying, "It's already midnight, Angel. How about I get you one tomorrow?" She shook her head, saying, "Maan, you don't love me anymore, because I look so fat. Am I always irritating you?" Tears filled her eyes.
I went to her immediately, wiping her tears. I placed a kiss on her forehead, saying, "No, Bubaa, it's not like that. You're looking so beautiful, and I love you more than anyone in the world." She sniffed, nodding. I continued, "Okay, I will get you ice cream, but can you promise me to behave when I am gone?" She nodded again.
I got up, sighing. I told Fluffly boy, "Keep an eye on your Mumma," and I went out to get her the ice cream. As it was midnight, no shop was open, so I called my PA. I said, "I want to buy an ice cream parlor, Prakash." He asked, "What, sir?" I repeated, "I want to buy an ice cream shop, Prakash." He chuckled on the other side knowing the reason as I shouted, "Is this funny to you?" He said, "No, sir. I will arrange it immediately."
After some time, Prakash came, giving me the ice cream. He said, "I handled it. Next time, it will directly come to home, sir." I nodded and went home. As I went in, I saw all my brothers are awake, and Adhya was sitting in the middle of the living room crying. I went to her immediately, asking, "What's wrong, Angel? Didn't I go to get you ice cream?"
She said, sniffing, "Maan, you came so late, so I thought something bad might have happened." I asked, "You could have called me, right?" She looked at me blinking rapidly, said, "I forgot." I sighed as I glared at my brothers, saying, "Did you all also forget that I use a goddamn phone?" They shook their heads. These people seriously.
I hugged her, saying, "Ahh, there, baby, I am back, aren't I? So how about we eat ice cream and sleep?" She nodded as I lifted her up, talking to our room. Fluffly brought in the ice cream as I patted his head. Her bump is now so big; well, it's already six months now, and her mood swings are seriously out of hand nowadays.

I went to the office as there was a slight emergency, these days I have been working from home. After the situation was cleared, I went home. Priya Maa came to me, saying, "Abhi, Princess is having morning sickness again. She didn't eat anything. I made some Maggie for her, but she vomited after eating." I went to the room running. I saw her there, looking so pale. I took her into my arms, rubbing her hair. She asked, "Maan, I am hungry." I nodded, "You take rest, Angel. I will be back."
I went to the kitchen and made some dessert with all nuts and added ice cream to that. Adhya Mom came as I asked, "Why didn't you call me before, Maa?" She said, "I thought I could cook her something, not disturbing you. Sorry." I sighed, saying, "Anything about her is not disturbing to me, Maa. She is my priority." She nodded as I went into the room.
I fed her the dessert, which she happily ate, saying, "You know me too well, Maan." I smiled as I finally saw her eating happily. I talked to the baby, saying, "Hello there, kiddo. Why are you giving so much trouble to your mom, huh?" Adhya chuckled, and the baby kicked as I placed my hand on her stomach. The baby kicked again as we laughed. It's almost nine months now, and the doctor gave us a due date of 19 days from now.

I was sleeping peacefully after cooking her dinner for the third time, and I heard her calling me, "Maan, Maan." I woke up to see her and asked, "What's wrong, angel?" She said, "It's time." My eyes widened as I got up immediately, running into the room. Fluffy, barked at my sudden action, and she started laughing.
I turned to see she was joking. I glared at her, saying, "It's not funny, angel. You scared me to death." She motioned for me to come closer, and as I went closer, she hugged me, saying, "Maan, that's the reason I did this. You should be prepared if something happens, right?" I asked, "What do you mean?" She said, "Well, you should have a bag ready with my clothes, two pairs of baby dresses, and some essentials. And the first thing is you should not panic."
She looked at me as I said, "Give me one minute, angel." She nodded as I called Prakash, saying, "By tomorrow, there should be a mini hospital here with all the equipment needed for your sister's pregnancy, and a doctor should be available all the time." He said, "Yes, sir. The first thing tomorrow, it will be done, sir."
Adhya threw a pillow at me, saying, "What the hell, Maan?" I chuckled, saying, "Well, I don't want anything to happen to you on the way to the hospital, angel. You know this house is far from the city." She pouted, turning to the other side to sleep. I went, pulling her close, whispered in her ear, "I lobe you, angel," and slept.
***
All of us were watching a Shah Rukh Khan movie when I was ordered by the princess, insisting that we must follow it. In between, Adhya clutched my hand, saying, "Maan, I think my water broke." I asked, "What?"
Priya ma slapped me, saying, "Idiot, bring her down to the medical room." That's when I realized, oh, it's finally time. As I picked her up, the doctor came in immediately. Everyone stood outside as the doc said, "Sir, you also can wait outside." Adhya caught my hand, saying, "No, doc, please let him stay." The doc looked at me as I said in my most demanding voice, "She wants me here, and I am not going anywhere." The doc nodded.
After some time, Adhya was screaming, "Maan, it's paining." I rubbed the sweat on her face, saying, "Angel, you're strong, aren't you? Please push." She shouted, "Well, I am trying, can't you see?" I hated seeing her in this much pain; my heart broke at every one of her screams. The doc said, "It's time, Mrs. Raichand. Give one last push." I gripped her hand tightly as she gave one last push before she passed out.
I heard a small baby cry. The doc said, "Congratulations, Mr. Raichand. It's a baby girl." I nodded, laughing, as everyone came in hearing the baby cry. Adhya's mom took her into her hands, cradling her. As I looked at Adhya, I kissed her forehead, saying, "You did a great job, angel." She opened her eyes, still tired. As I helped her sit, I asked, "Is it paining, angel?" She shook her head, asking, "Where is the baby, Maan?" I looked at the family, pointing as Rohan Bhaiya gave the baby girl to her.
Sid asked, "What will you name her, Di?" She looked at me as I asked, "What?" She said, "Come on, name her." I shook my head as Adhya placed the baby in my hand. Oh my god, she is so tiny, and when I touched her for the first time, I felt a kind of protectiveness kicking in. I looked at her eyes; they were exactly like Adhya's. I said, "Nakshatra." Adhya looked at me, saying, "It is nice, Maan." Everyone cheered for us and left us for a while, giving us privacy.
I said, "She is the star of our lives, angel," so I named her Nakshathra. She nodded happily. Finally, we created a family of our own, and at any cost, I will protect these two ladies of mine with my life.
