The Jane Doe Killer, Mark Jacksony Jr. (now we know the perpetrator's identity), was arrested on Sunday, February 1, 2009, by FBI agents at an uninhabited house in northern Nevada. The killer himself gave us the address of the location where he was located. All clues matched the detainee, including the motive. In addition to the 14 murders the Jane Doe Killer committed, he is charged with the murders of Barbara J. Stepman, Charlotte Ferris, Samuel Bell, and the attempted murder of Dr. Alexis E. Stepman.
The court's decision is execution by electric chair, as it stands in the Nevada Penal Code.
