The ceremony where children twelve to eighteen years old must put their name into the pool of children to be selected for the annual Hunger Games.

The amount of times your name enters the bowl depends on how old you are- every year, they add an additional slip with your name. In addition, to get food if you're ever in the need for any, you can place in your name to place an order of food to supply you and your family. Of course it is optional, but in the case you require it- an additional slip will be added to the pool regardless of how old you are until you are eighteen. If you choose not to enter the Reaping ceremony, you will be imprisoned and incarcerated, punished by according rule- please do consider whenever you decide you'd rather take a day home.

The Reaping consists of one male and one female to be admitted into the Hunger Games as a representative of the Annual Hunger Games.Of course, there is an exception to this rule- volunteers.Though rare in some Districts, it is commonplace in others, you can volunteer yourself for the Hunger Games if you would like. If there are multiple volunteers, only the FIRST will be chosen.
