"What is the worst thing you ever did?"

It was a challenging question for someone like Hari, who had multiple crimes to choose from. She could have mentioned breaking into the BTS dorm, selling people's personal information, harassing Jungkook, coercing Lucas, or framing me. However, to everyone's surprise, she confessed, "auditioning to become an idol."

"The worst thing you ever did was audition to become a K-pop idol?" the plague doctor sought confirmation.

Hari nodded.

"Yes."

It wasn't a joke or an attempt to provoke us. Hari genuinely believed that her pursuit of stardom was the darkest sin she had committed.

The plague doctor examined the lie detector results.

"You are not lying. You believe it's true. However, I disagree. So, I'll let the other guests decide whether it is the worst thing you have done."

He presented pictures of Jungkook and information about his whereabouts throughout the last year.

"These documents are from Hari's computer, which she kept at her dad's cottage. It has remained unvisited by her other family members in recent years."

Jungkook stood up.

"Do you need to show that to everyone?"

The kidnapper ignored him, clicking through the slide show.

Pictures and other documents of Jungkook flashed on the screen: Jungkook jogging at a gym, a copy of Jungkook's message to his manager, where he mentioned feeling sick and requested to postpone a photoshoot. The plague doctor even revealed Jungkook's home address.

Jungkook threw his hands out in frustration.

"Thanks a lot. Now I have to move again," he muttered.

Hari knew more about Jungkook than I had guessed. She could have seen him every day if she had wanted to. Additionally, the Lees had enough money for her to book flights to all the cities where BTS toured.

"Guess what she did to acquire Jungkook's detailed weekly schedules?" the plague doctor asked. It was a rhetorical question since he didn't expect anyone to answer.

The slide show content changed, now displaying information about Stray Kids, including their schedules, phone numbers, and even the passcode to their dorm.

"Hari exchanged information about Stray Kids for details about Jungkook."

The kidnapper played a phone call recording, beginning with Hari's whiny voice.

"I'll figure out their schedule for that day, but that's worth ten months of Jungkook's schedules."

A modified robot voice responded.

"We need the exact time and location of the bus. Also, the transportation company. And a list of managers working that day. Both Ateez' and Stray Kids'."

"I'll easily get at least those of Stray Kids'."

"Good. I'll be in touch."

"But you can't hurt Lee Know," Hari quickly added before the call ended.

"Sure. It's part of the deal," the robot voice replied before hanging up.

I had known this all along, but hearing Hari make the deal felt unreal. Her selfishness shocked me, even though I had witnessed her soulless behavior multiple times.

What I hadn't guessed was that she had put her brother and his friends in danger just because she was obsessed with Jungkook and wanted to know his location at all hours.
